I agree 100 percent. When i had my astro i was getting about 20 max mpg which was great for a astro. The esxpress was only getting like 13-14. The volvo gets about 27 mpg with me getting into it,loaded up and with a locking 4.10 rear. The thing i really love about is that there is a huge support for them and a rather decent aftermarket. From looking at the car you wouldn't think that it's a 13.9 in the 1/4 mile car. It has a rather large amount of mods done to it though such as large volvo turbo exhaust intake larger fmic etc. Only thing i sacrificed for me at the current moment is that i cannot tow my dsm with it but that is ok lol for now

Picked up one of these this weekend as my previous one crapped out on me. Suction seems good and I love how small it is.

Do you guys remove the filter when doing wet carpets?

If they are very wet, yes since the water will get in the filter. The real hassle is just to clean out the water in the tub that mixes with the dirt if you use it for both wet and dry pickup.

For slightly damp carpet, I will try to blow it dry more than than suck it dry just to not have to clean out the vac.

Thanks. I really don't get nasty interior jobs so the 4070 should be fine for me.

I bought a package of the dust bags so I just remove it if I have to deal with something damp.

I saw the bags when I bought it but a pack of two was 12 bucks. I'd rather just clean it out after a few uses!
