so my business partner's and I have come to the conclusion that we are on to something and are going full out on contacting companies (involving cars) that need detailing of the exteriors better and faster than everyone else.

my business partner wanted me to run it by you guys on how much we should charge for a wash and wax of limo's.

if you could all give the going rates of your areas this would be greatly appreciated. really need to know this one when we approach them and what to expect them to say to have them change detailers, if they have a professional working for them or they take it to a shop.

I don't know about a wash and wax but a shop by me that does limos charges $40 per linear foot for correction details. I would assume a limo wash and wax would be about double a regular sized car wash and wax. But I guess the best way to figure it out is find out what they are paying whoever they currently use.

I've done several funeral coaches and charge $300 to do one. Paint correction only, cleaned before I get there so I go straight to clay and then to the buffer. It takes me 9 to 10 hours to do one. You guys probably charge more I'm sure.

  4. Depends upon what kinda stains are on the seats/carpets :006:

I am talking about no paint correction.

only we show up and wash and wax the car with power lock only. door jambs of course too but no interiors. only wash and wax exterior alone.

    thanks

I think you have to do their interior too, not just clean outside then powerlock. they will have to find another guy to do interior and another guy for paint correction.

well I can easily add in paint correction on spots that need it, that is never an issue plus I found another detailer living in my area that I showed what concept I came up with and he has polishing skills and wants to jump on board bad.

we want to focus on doing dealerships, limo services, rental car services as quick wash and waxes because the system that I came up with is lightening fast and shinnier that anything anyone has to offer without polishing.

might be franchising in the near future. say two year plan to get there but my partners say my idea will blow up real fast. we had to turn in my patent today.

do you have a work truck or van to fit the optima in?

yes, been using a pick up truck. did a demo today on two cars and the people watching in amazement how the car went from dull to shinny in only 7 minutes. then we applied power lock on top of it and let it sit for 10 minutes and buffed it off.

Hey godo, pm me some info if you would. I am about to pull the trigger on the optima we talked about before. I would like to see a demo if you have a video?

  11. :what: Seeing that you have already turned in your patent. Would you mind spilling the beans :deal: My process is ridonkously slow and tideous. On top of that, my customers seem to not care near as much about the appearence of there whip as I do :paranoia:

    :waiting:

If i was to wash and wax a limo i would charge anywhere from $100 to $150 depending on the size and i got this price because i charge any where $35 to $65 for a wash and wax on coupes to SUVs and a limo is going to take more time and product. You can also always get a contract with a limo service to do their fleet and negotiate a price to do multiple limos

for those that want to buy the optima steamer, hold off on a few months. there is no point buying it when you will not know how to wash the car with it, you have to figure it out on your own and I got it down. it is a different style than other countries are doing because they have less dirt on their cars and live in the city.

there is also a new optima model coming out and I want to see what it has to offer, is it better? does it come with better accessories? things like this. when I am holding in my hand the paper work that states I have a patent and it is "official" . everyone on detailingbliss.com will be the first people I devolge my info with but I want to do it in group meetings and I will bring everything out to show everybody.

located just outside of seattle, washington. there is another professional detailer in the area that runs one of the best "exotic detailing" shops in the state. once I have all the legalities down I am going to approach him about this to master the system of "possibly" revolutionizing the car wash business by saving massive amounts of water, increasing the speed of the wash and wax process better than any car wash or detail shop can do as well as maximizing profits and using minimal soap that is enviromentally friendly.

make it clear that what I have come up with is a mix, no one product does what I discovered and with out the recipe you will be lost trying to figure it out.

please write me a private pm if any of you are interested in this type of a business and I will keep your information to contact you when I am ready to take this new system all the way.

no marring of the paint by the way
