Finally got a chance to get the car all cleaned up and take some decent pictures after weeks of messing with my new goodies. VMR V710 Weels, Gunmetal, 18x8.5 +35, 18x9.5 +45 Hankook Ventus V12 K110 Evo, 235/40/18, 275/35/18 Lovels Eliminator 20mm drop kit Lovels RR bushings, strut mounts, crossmember bushings, diff insert Porterfield R4S pads Motul 600 Notes: 245 front tire would not fit, even with -1.5camber, had to get 235s, what a PITA that was. Had to cut the rear fender lips, not bad though. My rear suspension is still making a clunking noise over bumps, checked everything twice, its driving me nuts. I will not be quitting my day job to pursue photography, but I did my best. Car was pretty dirty, and could use some light polishing in areas, but that will have to wait. Looks awesome! Is it an 05 or 06? I have a silver 04....it's in need of a little TLC though not nearly as clean as yours it looks brand new!
Thanks its an 06. I bought it when I was working at the dealer as a tech brand new. Dealer closed up, I was left with a car to pay for  Anyways I don't put alot of miles on it, and I was getting kind of bored with it, but the new wheels and suspension really got me into it again. I've always hated the stock wheels, finally found a set I really like and could afford.
Same here ... I detailed my mother-in-law's RAV4 Saturday. I'm working on the wife's Highlander right now. Hopefully I can get to my car before heading back to work on Thursday.
Not an American car fan but dude, that thing is friggen clean! :worship2: Wheels look awesome on that car. :thumb:
its not american at all - designed and built in australia. Engines though come to aus on crates good to see you guys liking our aussie built holdens shame Pontiac has gone broke now, as you're missing out on some awesome bang for buck - the cars are actually cheaper for you in the US than what they cost here funny thing is though, with a stockpile of pontiac bumpers, and no more pontiac orders, holden is putting them on our aussie cars.....so we have pontiacs in aus now too lol
Thanks everyone, I'm glad you all like the new wheels. Car handles much better now, not nearly as cushy and comfy as before, but thats ok for me. The two products I haven't used before I was really impressed with were the HD wax and speed wipe. Speed wipe is a killer QD, and the HD wax is probably the best looking "wax" I've ever used on my car. Silver usually only pops well with a sealant, but this Autoglym stuff did the trick.
tell me about it a major player like GM having to beg it's almost insignificant (but now only profitable) Australian counterpart for their RWD V8 sedan that they'd been designing/building for over 30 years because they couldn't build their own luckily shipping from Aus is alot more reliable than your local CanadaPost.......still waiting for my products :cig:
OUCH! They are reliable, just slow. Next time I'm driving the 30 minutes and shipping it from the US. You'll have it in 6 days, not six weeks.
damn now that is one sick GTO. Those rims give that car new life for sure. What kind of camera you using?
