Hello everybody, I was trying to search for info and couldn't find to much about it but my questions are : Is Swissvax Glacier the only wax that is specifically designed for a white cars? What are the alternatives? Is the outcome of the full detail different then with a quality wax on the same white vehicle? thank you for your comments.
Nobody ever used or know about any waxes specifily designed for white cars? exept Glacer. Which wax did you use on a white car that gave you the best results? Probably better question.
I have no experience with Swissvax products but here's a few threads on white cars: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum...-best-glaze-sealant-wax-combination-white.htm http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/last-step-process-protection/19103-best-wax-pearl-white.htm http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum...78-wax-recomendation-brand-new-car-please.htm the overall consensus seems to lean towards a sealant rather than a wax. I haven't had a white car in quite some time but I do have a silver truck that is annoyingly light colored and I prefer Wet Obsession on it compared to sealants. Don't know how it would work on white but on the silver it has a super nice gloss with a bit of shimmer and depth (even though depth doesn't do much on this silver). Tried Glasur, Souveran, WSG, Colinite 845, UPGP, Zymol Creame and several others I've forgotten on it.
Thanks for your input, I curently use Zaino stuff on my cars and it does the job pretty good. When I found out about Glacier wax for white cars I started to wonder if it really makes a difference. I think I will try it after I use all of my Zaino stuff.
ive just stuck with (swissvax concorso) its just amazing on any color. i was playing with it today and put a coat on my truck i love the durability. i was going to use souveran but i just dont have the time to reapply so soon. latley im more into durability and swissvax is it!!!
How can any product be designed for white cars? Sounds like hype to me, but if someone can educate me I'm all ears.
just spent 15 hours doing a white mb sl and used a sealant and topped it with swissvax concourso. georgous. durability should be top notch too.
Like david refers to, waxes are not clear in nature, its in the polishing and u can use whatever wax u want.
