Deep Gloss Auto Salon 2011 CTS V Sport Wagon – Media Prep 556 Hp - Not Your Grandma’s Wagon Below is a except from AutoBlog: This vehicle was in need of some Deep Gloss TLC to prep for its driving time with Auto Magazine and Car and Driver this week. Due to the very limited time I had with this vehicle (1.5 hours) and also due to the fact that it is about to get driven hard and hung up wet by the media this week, only a wash & wax performed and, as such my process, documentation and pictures are limited. I am posting this more due to the fact that this car is not yet released as opposed to show case the wash and wax. Process: Paint: ONR wash Duragloss Aqua Wax Duragloss 501 on water spotting Goo Gone use to remove duct tape residue on body Glass: Surf City Glass Cleaner Engine: Engine ONR wipedown Duragloss 265 Wheels/Arches: ONR Barebones Optimum Dressing Exhaust Tips: Never Dull Thanks for looking, Stay tuned as I will have the CTS V coupe in soon!
That's for sure.... I should add that this is just going out to be media driven this week not to be photographed. There are 5 of these total, a couple mules this one and two show builds.
Thanks Chas, I only had it for 1.5 hours and I was talking with the customer as well so I was limited but she did clean up well.
Nice work on a nice looking car. Cadillac seriously screwed up with the styling of the new CTS V Coupe, though. I'd take the Sedan out of all of them.
Thanks Emile.... I actually like the coupe.... Like you, the sedan would be my first choice. All that power in a sedan is just delicious! You got that right.... Nope, no test drive for me on this one... That would be a no-no before the magazines have their way with it EXACTLTY!!
Thanks for clarifying. You werent clear the first time you posted that...oke: I think the Coupe looks fantastic. Ive seen it in person and it looks so much better then in any of the photos Ive seen. Some of these wider angle lens can really throw the proportions off... There are quite a few cars on the market that dont photograph well and I think the Coupe is one of them. Great opportunity there Deep Gloss! This wagon is royal badass! My favorite is still the RS6 Avant, but now only because Id love a wagon as a year-rounder, and 556 and rwd wont work well in the snow. Plus, I love the new RS6 body. Those rear shoulders on the Avant are sexy!
Still amazing - I really love those V-wagons. Hope things have been continuing well for you Jason and I look forward to your next post
