My 6 year old self would make a crappy detailer...

The 92' Dodge Viper was the one which sparked my obsession of sports cars. Back then for me a Viper was the best car in the world... and the TV show "Viper" was of course the best show in the world!

For my birthday one year my dad surprised me by renting this yellow Viper, my obsession with the car grew more... and at that point I knew I would be prone to drive a proper manual gearbox for the rest of my life :shrug:



Please note my leaning on the car, definitely not standard issue behavior for me these days!

 

What a funny picture. My dad had a 70 Chevelle SS 396 back in the day and that got my motor running. One advantage you would have at that age is that you could fit inside the wheel to clean the barrels.

well i work at a body shop. And you guys bash ppl at body shops who do not properly take care of the last step before delivery.

So i decided i would And i would literally check IWSTI.com every day waiting for your new detail post.

That's a cool pic dude ... I was always obsessed with my neighbor's Buick GN when I was living with my grandparents. I always wanted to work for GM (I love also syclones, typhoons, gtas) and my dream came true right after finishing college. I feel really proud about following my dream and not giving up after several close calls.

I can tell a lot of people here (including you) have a passion for detailing. I can really relate to that. It's feels even better when passion brings you money/success.

Turbo 6 ftw. I love Typhoons. I remember years back I saw a white one down here and I fell in love. SUCH a sleeper. Same with the Syclone.

crazy thing about that Dave is when i was young i thought vipers were the best cars in the world to. Viper was my car of choice when the very first need for speed came out for PC's that were still running like windows 95 was the shit LoL.

 

So, did you get a Viper yet.

I love my 01 GTS, great car that attracts a ton of attention, is relatively low tech and easy to work on and has gobs of torque. It is still relatively quick considering it is almost 10 years old.
