So you got the nest out and you still got that smell in the car. What you ues to get it out Oasen, Steem clean,Total Releasr Odor Eliminator ,Mist In-Car Air Quality. What works for you :coffee: Old School thank you for your time
Put Bounty dryer sheets in your trunk, under your seats and engine compartment. Something about that fresh clean smell that mice don't like :cig: For the odor try Kid-n-Pets :chips:
Where were the mice? Where ever they were the entire area needs to be dismantled and disinfected. The smell is their feces & urine. If you don't clean it correctly you are basically just putting a band-aid on the real problem. Definately an insurance claim.
yes, good idea to remove mice turds. Better check your wiring also. They love to chew on that stuff :yikes:
I had a squirrel family nest in my car near the wiring harness. They also like to chew on the wires and rubber clasps. It was the most expensive fix Ive ever paid for, that didnt involve new drivetrain parts or new paint....over 1800 for the wiring harness and other parts before labor!
Don't know if you knew this or not, but you need to be careful when removing nests and feces. That stuff gives off a toxin that can be harmful if breathed in. Always wear a mask and use a heppa vac if you can.
