This is my daily driver/ mobile detail mobile that I purchased in April and this is the first time it has gotten anymore than a wash. Usually I don't let it get this bad but I have been working on a construction site for the past few months so it wasn't even worth trying to keep the saw dust out and the mud off of it. Well now that job is done so I can spend a little time on it. Surprisingly enough the paint doesn't have too many swirls or RIDS so I felt this was a perfect time to test out Prima Amigo which I have just received from Phil. I'm not a huge fan of glazes but this product has totally changed my mind, especially considering its amazing cleaning ablities. It's like P21s paint cleaner on steroids, and it's easier to use as well. Anyway, onto the detail... Wash DP Extreme Foam via foam gun and 2BM Spot clayed with Ubar clay bar Glass cleaned with Meguiars Glass Cleaner Trim dressed with Prima Nero Wheels and Tires Wheels cleaned with Sonax wheel cleaner Tires cleaned with Megiars APC 4:1 Tires dressed with Prima Nero Wells dressed with Adams Undercarriage spray Paint Prep Prima Amigo on Uber green pad LSP Prima Hydro I was lucky enough to get the parking spot right nest to the sprinkler in the yard that had some very hard water... Otherwise it was just dirty and some spots were muddy from having to drive off road to get to the job site. I don't get much sun in my driveway so this picture is trying to illustrate that there aren't any swirls in the paint, but the water spots are out of control. These pics are after only the Amigo, no LSP yet. Final Shots after a layer of Prima Hydro, which has to be one of the easiest to use spray waxes I have ever seen. I will be reporting back on it's durability. Thanks for looking!
Looks good. I work at a Nissan dealer and often take our cube loaner home I like the vehicle, drive great.
Very nice. How did you apply Amigo? My wife's Mazda is a utter mess. I need to find time to thoroughly wash, clay and Amigo that sucker pronto. I gave it an ONR wash on Friday and tried Hydro after I had dried it. Yes, I know that's not what the directions suggest but I thought it might be weird to apply Hydro while drying off ONR.
thank you! Yeah I love it. It gets awesome mileage and for how small it is on the outside there iss tons of space inside! Thanks! I applied it with a green uber pad on a pc on speed 5. I did a few passes with light pressure and one last pass with only the wait of the polisher and it worked great. I was amazed what this combo took care of. Definitely stronger than P21 paint cleaner. As for the hydro I used it on dry paint to and it worked flawlessly. I will try it before drying next time since I wont be doing any correction.
Great job. Would have loved to have seen pics of the interior as I've wanted to see what the inside of one of these looks like. Seen them on the road but haven't had the chance to see one up close yet.
Thanks! Thanks! It really does show the ability of this product! Thanks. I did an interior detail on this but it was so horrendous to begin with I didn't post up the before pics but, here are some after though. Oh and my fiance has affectionately named the little shag rug on the dash the "cubes pubes"...I found myself a winner! LOL Notice all the "ripples" in different spots like the door speaker covers. There is also a giant ripple in the headliner but I didn't get a picture of that. Enjoy!
I love it. as long as you keep in mind its not a sporty car you have to love it. It gets awesome gas mileage (40 mpg on my last trip to the beach) its small on the outside but HUGE on the inside and its fun ro drive still.
Looks great! That thing came out sharp. I am not too too far from you, I'm up here in Columbia, MD. All I can say from these pictures is HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!
I totally agree! Thanks! And yes HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! Oh the things I would do for a winning season this year! :support:
I'm impressed with your results with Amigo. How would you compare it to CG EZ Creme glaze or OPT Poli-seal?
So is Amigo like Klasse AIO on Steroids? I have been using KAIO as a paint cleaner / base layer on my vehicles for a few years. The result you got from Amigo were amazing.
Thanks, unfortunatly I have not used either of the product you mentioned. Thanks, that it does and for now I still enjoy the looks. Thanks! As far as I know Amigo has no protection so it would always need to be followed up with an LSP. Otherwise yes, IMO it does everything else better than KAIO.
