I have never been a "The world is flat" kind of guy, if something works even if it goes against conventional wisdom I will use it if it nets results.....period.

What is always evident though with some things is you have a claim, then cynics get involved and sometimes blast something(product/tecnique) before validating the claim made by a person or company.

At SEMA 08 I watched the demonstations and spoke with the guy there for quite a while and it was evident that he did not know how to correct paint, they had a black car there that was NOT representative(in a good way) of the products capabilities.

Now I watched the demonstation and kept an open mind, until the carnival type rhetoric started, and when I started in with technical jargon with my discourse with the guy there "The lights were on and but nobody home" situation was painfully evident.

The other reason I commented on this was the posts from Dream Shine, when I was still involved with GI I would be on the GI forum and he would post the most silly questions to the point I could not take it anymore, I mean there are times when it was like "Come on now......".

Someone can have a shall we say "different" way of articulating things, but here is my measuring stick, why not make a video (HD if possible) and show how this works? then if it works the point is made case closed.....next.

I the past I would read this stuff and just move along and chuckle to myself, but as I get older I became aware that you have limited time left on the planet and I do not let time waisters or people pulling shenanigans get away with things even though most people say the opposite should be true and "let things go, life is too short" well most people are not me......... and this is why things are allowed to happen even though history tells you "There is a sucker born every moment".

The detailing industry is no different from any other segment of society, where you have many people embellishing things they do. A products performance when it gets into the hands of experienced people who can tell the difference will stand the test of time....... it may take awhile but the truth ALWAYS comes out in the end. I like a quote from former president Reagan "Trust but verify" and I like another statement I use often which is "It's not what people say....but what they do".

I realize many will read this long winded post and roll thier eyes........but sometimes someone has to say "Cut the s**t".

Well i had play with some glare products today, knock out, micro polish and the professional polish [sealant]
with all the glitz and hype aside i.am happy with the results, the test vehicle was wash, clayed , machine polished with glare knock out where needed and the rest with micro polish followed by 2 coats of sealant the first applied by machine, i found that they all performed well and very easy to use.
the paint sealant i find compareable to zaino z2 but with a shorter curing time.

I also tried the liquid clay, i will stick with clay bars liquid cly is not for me

Dont get stuck on correcting finishes with abrasives alone. they only transfer heat physically, not chemically and will never produce a finish that glare and other products like Aquartz can

also just because you have removed all the defects in paint, does not mean that the paint is as perfect as its going to get. far from it.

the american version is not as good because of the drying agent in it and far less active ingredient
the now distributor was not impressed with it enough and over time, they developed better versions of them. such as Infinity plus in 2003 which is not available anywhere else but australia, Glare Zero which we use to soften the scratches and the paint thus making correction easier and also enables the other products of the glare line to be more effective with less work, without the need for correction

he spent many hundreds of thousands to have these made.
this guy is not just selling it, he uses it daily and is one of the foremost paint specialist detailers in the world. trains people in europe and knows more about the system than anyone else on the planet.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE GLARE PEOPLE AT SEMA HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE THE PRODUCTS PROPERLY AND ARE USING THE AMERICAN CRAP WHICH IS TOO DRY AND HAS 40% less active ingredient and ARE USING IT THE WRONG WAY.
Its a Dual action polisher only system. the americans use it with a rotary and at super high speed which is only good for restoring oxidation and can damage paint at those crazy speeds
the pads they use are not the best type either
I do not like one of the salesman in the company. he is the companies own worst enemy and I cant stand his personality. always defensive, never can answer the technical questions and makes insane claims

by the way, I've only been experimenting with reflowing paint which is thermo set aka catalyised
there is always a better way, you just have to find it and I will. have already with the products and tools I've made

I can make the defects dissolve somewhat but the trouble is that its not reducing the orange peel enough and is too risky to do so with the current method
as factory paint is baked at 300 Farenheit, heat and solvents will not work

the reason that I am trying this is that paint correction is too time consuming and surely there has to be a better and smarter way than removing paint every time

There are plenty of glare authorised applicators around the world who get the results I do if not better and can answer any of your questions about the system
glare is not the be all and end all of detailing. I love correcting on a part time basis maybe two to three times on a car with single product systems such as System one X3 but why not keep trying to find a superior way that eliminates the time required and the variables that plague the industry
system one and Expert are burn proof and can produce alot of heat and reduce orange peel but will not damage it.

I am just trying to make detailing better and faster than its ever before, revolutionise it by eliminating certain steps, products and ways of doing things
have already eliminated and made obsolete the need for trim dressings (via TRIM DREAM) cutting compounds (via glare zero and the australian burn proof single polish system) , having to sand to remove 20 to 80% of orange peel (via a technique with a certain pad and the australian single polish and water), fixing oxidation with cutting compounds (via the glare system and my deep impact line) and having to buy new clay bars (cleans it while using it and through my self made mar free lubricant which has a special liquid clay in it plus special cleaners for the clay and the paint which will repair light oxidation and restore gloss as you clay)

Have thickening paint system using my secret sauce liquid which is poured on and leaves a thick sheet of glass without buffing or rubbing. bonds to the paint instantly

will show these later in the year for sure. am starting from scratch with all new products, pads and a heap of R & D once I get back from america this week

all these companies use it and dont seem to have any trouble producing finishes that are superior to correction alone.
Please Note: I'd never leave it on the car for 5 years.

In the future, factory paints are going to be thinner, powder based, some softer, some harder and there is a totally scratch proof urethane paint and coating product coming out that will make it totally unnecessary to cut paint with abrasives.
thus why I am never satisfied with the work I do and will never sit still with my techniques and the products I use and make. sticking with correcting paint abrasively in the future is and will be a big mistake

I respect all of you on every forum immensly, so please give me a little.
Am a very humble person but am quite unconventional and truthfully do not know everything and there are probably many who are better than me in this industry

I promise to produce a stack of videos from december and february that will show the products and results that I get with them plus how to use the glare system
wont have new stocks of pads, products and festool, flex machines until december

spider is brilliant as a glass polish. best I've ever used.
I can feel and see metal particles in it but why do they resort to coming up with these crazy descriptions.
dont use it on paint as I find it will either marr the paint or not fill in one single thing
