I lately discovered an online shop that I can buy Zymol waxes directly from the USA. Having almost twice the price tags in the UK, US prices make these waxes really appealing. I have a budget up to $100 + shipping (personally imported goods should not exceed €150 inc. shipping in our country) so I can reach Glasur and lower priced waxes. Now I have three alternatives for my daily driver Dark Blue Metallic VW Passat, Carbon, Titanium and Glasur. I'd like the fastest sheeting possible from my waxes, at least 3 months durability and a wax that wouldn't show up every defect on the paint. I shall still use a filler heavy glaze like Prima Amigo or PB Black Hole as a prep. Which one would you choose? Or is there any other wax I missed in the range? PS: I have many other paste waxes and sealants already. I'm looking for a Zymol for this time. Thanks in advance.
titanium is considered an entry level estate glaze so based on that you cant go wrong with it or glasur, carbon is also pretty decent but gets left out due to the higher up siblings. I use and like glasur which sheets and beads water great and lasts easily 3 months
I would definately recommend Glasur. I was never too attracted to it as so many people hype it up which made me weary of the product but it is simply great. It ticks all your boxes but you will achieve good results with any of the 'low end' Zymol waxes.
Thanks a lot. Glasur looks like it's worth the money then. Zymol talks very strictly to use HD cleanse before the wax. I didn't think it was that much needed while I have many cleansers already. Do you think it is also worth buying?
anything will work. However, I think glasur does look its best over hd cleanse, 2nd is pinnacle's paintwork cleanser
i bought my glasur and hd cleanse off an ebay US vendor for about 110 USD shipped havent used it yet though
I have Titanium and have yielded terrific results with it. I also used HD Cleanse during the process which made a profound difference.
most paint cleaners will give you the same, if not better, results than hd cleanse these days - but i like to keep it in the same family when testing waxes something like Clearkote RMG or VMG will make any wax look good
