Nice guide in there. I was actually looking for some care tips for my carpet but, I saw more than what I need cleaning tips! Thanks for the tips.
I had a carpet flooring all my life and i know how to clean it and every thing but don't you think it is way better to have an oak floor- you wont have to buy all those special carpet cleaning things - it is more resistant and on top of that it looks better I'm sooo happy with my new oak floor!
No carpets in my downstairs. Just had the concrete acid stained and sealed. Ceramic tile will soon be in the kitchen. This is a great guide! Very thorough.
If it is a removable carpet then take it out on the porch and wash it with powder detergent and water. This thoroughly cleans my carpets. Let it dry for a day and it should be ok. Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Professionals Company based in Liverpool If it can't be removed then i would suggest investing in a good quality vacuum. Good luck
Hey Jon, Great article but can you elaborate as to what type of products we can use for a) Water Soluble Stains b) Oil Soluble Stains (What is a Petroleum Solvent) c) Combination Stains d) Unidentifiable Stains Also for organic stains you say to use Protein Stain Remover and to use an enzyme cleaner for blood and pet urine. Can you also give an example of an enzyme cleaner? Recently I have been dealing with some tough stains and other than Zep HTC and Folex I don't use anything else but would like to try other things out. Thanks, Waseem
