Anyone ever heard of these guys before? They look like they have a good product, but a bit too 'industrial' strength and cost.

    Vid below:

:shead: Yeah, it's a promo video, but I've never heard of them before and it looks like it works pretty good.

Yeah I did, the thing that looked interesting about this was not just the steamer portion, but the fact that it can be used as an extractor as well, and the amount of settings it has, and that it uses so little water. But I haven't heard of anyone using these yet, as they seem fairly new to market.

depend how much it is, the Gaia can be used as a carpet extractor and steamer too.

I think the extraction capability is a huge plus to combine with the steamer. Looked briefely on their site, did not see pricing, taking that as a bad sign. Must be very spendy units- anybody know pricing?

  6. Good Afternoon Gentlemen,

I work with Dupray Industries and would be more than happy to answer any of your questions relating to our products. I used to have my own service business before joining Dupray as they offer great reseller programs. I started with gum removal and car detailing and then sold a few machines for them and well now i have joined their team as they're always looking for representatives who know use the machines.

Firstly they have machines starting at 2,495$ and up to 4,995$ with accessories and shipping included.

The machines are built in Italy so they're extremely high quality all of the parts are german or Italian, no asian parts in these machines.

They're a relatively new company so it's certain there isn't too much information about them yet but the machines work, and they work well, they're extremely powerful and portable continuous fill units.

If you want to check out more information on them check out Dupray Vapor Steam Cleaners, Floor Scrubbers and Carpet Cleaners, The Best Quality and Prices from Dupray Industries[/url]

I highly recommend their products, not only because i work with them but they're just the best ones i've seen. Their prices are not posted online because they want to make sure you don't buy according to price and get the right product for you by calling and speaking to their extremely knowledgable staff.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me or give them a call at

I am also interested in a steamer. After seeing this post I called Dupray and found out some information. The Hill Injection steamer costs $2495, the Carmen Super Inox costs $4995, those prices include shipping to the USA.

In comparing the Hill Injection to the Therma-Kleen/Vapor Chief, it offers continuous fill which is a huge plus. To get continuous fill on the Therma-Kleen/Vapor Chief, it costs $5995, but that also gives you 180 p.s.i. Also, the Hill Injection is 116 p.s.i. compared to 100 p.s.i. for the standard Therma-Kleen/Vapor Chief.

The Hill Injection steamer also lets you inject additional boiling water while you are cleaning to help rinse off the dirt.

I have never heard of Dupray before and don't know how long they have been in business. It would be great to hear some feedback from users of their steamers.

Edit: looks like DuprayIndustries posted prices while I was typing my message.

  8. I also just wanted to point out a couple of key points between the Hill Injection and the Thermakleen

-The ThermaKleen is a 10.6bar unit which is in fact only 150psi.
-Dupray steam cleaners have variable pressure controls on the handle so you can change it as you work without going back to the machine to do so.
-Weight comparison 27lbs for the Hill to 80lbs for the Therma

Dupray also offer a lifetime warranty on the boiler and 3 years on the parts so you know the machines are built well and to last.

Hi Brent, can you compare your Carmen Super Inox with the Optima/Speedsteam steamer?

I called them this morning to inquire about pricing and received great C.S. One good piece of information that I received is that if the heating element should happen to go out, it is easy to replace and not too expensive. It seems like a pretty good product. Now if I can only convince my better half to let me get one.

Rusty, the easiest way to get the steamer in the house is to buy it as a gift for your better half, it makes cleaning the house easier, faster, and more healthy because you don't use so many chemicals. Then, you just ask your better half if you could borrow it to do cars.

I like the way you think.

  14. The Carmen Super Inox is a completely different type of machine than the Optima/Speedsteam. The unit is an extractor and dry steam cleaner with detergent/hot water injection. The great benefit of the Carmen is all of the accessories, you have accessories for carpets, for door panels, seats, windows, cup holders etc. meanwhile the optima is a steam nozzle. Water Injection and Chemical Injection are great features for flushing away dirt in difficult areas like the engine room, brakes and wheels.

The Carmen Super Inox certainly has a higher pressure and temperature than these units and is designed to be much more portable, being able to fit in the trunk of a honda civic and operate on a single 110V outlet. Being fully electric is much more practical and saves you greatly in money for operation.

The Optima is certainly a great unit that produces a lot of steam which means you can use 2 hoses which is clearly a great feature.

Beyond that I can't tell you much more. Hopefully that was of help at least.

both the Carmen Super Inox and Optima have the same pricing.
How much is the Steam Box and Steam Box Vac?

What is the vacuum/extractor's inches of lift and cfm?

  16. 2200mm water column lift

  17. The Steam box vac run between 6500 and 7500$ and are 220V units.
