I finally got my iphone and got the new 32 gig iphone 4. This is all new to me (us old farts and technology, you know?). I want to download my Led Zeppelin ring tones I had on my old LG phone. I have the .mp3 files for them. Is it possible to download them and import them into the ringtones so I can use them? Do I need to jailbreak the phone in order to do this? How hard is that to do if so? Thanks for responding!!
Has nobody tried this? There are videos on youtube but would prefer hearing from someone who's actually done it.
If you use a mac you can import the mp3 file into garageband, and choose a 30 sec clip you would like to use as the ringtone. Im not too sure on how to do that from a PC, but you shouldn't need to jailbreak your phone unless you want to.
