Hi to all... I have bought this month a '84 VW Golf MK1 Cabriolet... and I am restoring it because was a bit... dirty. One thing I have to do is restore the leather because the driver seats was a bit bad... but dont worry... step by step. How it was: After clean all the leather, I apply liquid leather: The head rest... a friend done this with her heel... After sand all: Taping all parts I dont want to tint... special paper Appliyng the tint: Helping it to dry: Finished! Well, like new... one thing minus for finish my project... now I need a 20vt or a G60 16v Thanks for read. Saludos!
Excellente trabajo amigo. Se ve mejor que nuevo. Cuanto tiempo te tomo este projecto? Cuando nos muestras las fotos del coche?
Your friend dug her heel into the headrest?? Don't shoulders make the best resting spots for ankles?? LOL..I laughed my ass off reading that!!
Yep, the original golf... the best. Thanks! Gracias! Restaurar el asiento unas 6 horas con los tiempos de secado y demas. Luego pongo unas fotos del Golfete Thanks! Is a funny story... Well... we win the World Cup... so we have to celebrate it... she was sit in the rear (where the headrest of the rear were) and fall back... so the heel done his work Not and amazing story as you would have imagine
Lovely, still one of my absolute favorite cars of all times. Do I spot some Borbet wheels there? Classic!
I love since child... in this combo... white car... white leather... but the fronts come in cream... when I change the seats (Recaro ones on the front, Corrado on the back) i will retrim in withe leather all The wheels are similar design as Borbet... but are Kerscher Carmona ones... 7,5x16 in the front, 9x16 in the rear
Thanks! In this moment is stock... I am thinking in a KR with 4 bike carburators or a 16v G60... nothing bigger... to much weight in the front axle!
