No nothing flies off the car but the water. It is amazing though, check out the video on the Metro site. I don't agree with it taking less time than drying, but it is better and your not touching the paint at all. Best of all the water that runs from door jambs, taillights etc is almost non-existant after using the MB 8hp unit.

I picked up a bottle of Surf City Garage Speed Demon on a whim. So far, I really like it. I can see it leaving behind a wax layer, just as it describes on the label. You do have to buff it after application, so I guess it's a "QD+" type product, but it says this right on the label, so no surprise there. Nice slick finish when you're done, too.

Hot Rod is more of a QD.

For nuba's, Victoria Wax QD is a great choice. Very similar to GI Gloss Enhancer but for nubas.

I like Meguiar's Last Touch, from the Detailer line. It's very affordable in the gallon size. I mix it 1:1 for claying.

After washing my black truck, I usually mist a few shots here and there while wiping it dry. This really helps eliminate water spots.

While I still use a detailing spray every now and then, it's been all but replaced by Optimum Spray Wax. I got a free sample of this stuff and I have to admit I was skeptical of its claims I was shocked how easy it was to use and how gorgeous the finish looked after applying it.

I washed my truck, dried it using Microfiber towels, then applied Optimum's Spray Wax according to the instructions on the label. It was almost as easy as if I were using a detail spray, I'm not kidding it's that easy and that good. I ended up buying a gallon of the stuff!!

I started using Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer and so far I am very happy with the results. It doesn't streak. I diluted it as per the instructions and am using it with a pressure sprayer. It has the scent of a bubble gum, so every time I am done with it, I have to go chew a gum.

I got my Zymol Field Glaze yesterday. It was very easy to use. It went over the Swissvax Zuffenhausen and left an even, smoove and luxurious finish. I LOVE the green bottle, which I am not sure is old or new. It has the clear plastic trigger type sprayer, which is alot easier on the hand than the pump spray finger breaker that is shown on the Zymol website. The sprayer almost atomizes the liquid into a fine mist. The sprayer is the same sprayer that Swissvax uses. I love coconuts and IF you like it too, this wont dissapoint. Nice..
It was $20 for an 8.5oz bottle. I didnt expect it to be a "good deal" with the name Zymol on it. But it caters to the snobs like me so, well, I'm happy.
I will be trying the Swissvax Nano next.

Thanks for everyones input. This was a cool thread.

Glad to hear you liked the Field Glaze. It's probably my favorite nuba-based QD.

I thought when I used ONR as a qd if felt like it was taking the wax off the car. I guess because the drying towel felt like it had more drag or resistance when drying. Am I wrong. Please do tell.

Waxing over a QD that contains polymers won't be a problem. There isn't a such thing as a QD that can only be used with certain products. That is to say any QD can be used with any wax or sealant whether the QD contains polymers or not. Usually if A QD streaks either you're using way too much or you're using it on paint that is way too hot.
