That's odd, I've used Snappy quite a few times never had an issue..but then again I never left pads soaking over night

did you leave them soaked overnight??? That would explain it...

Never had that issue when I let mine soak (MF's included). Maybe chemical reaction with whatever you are using and the powder?

It happens when you leave Menz PO106FF on white foam pads. First rinse the residue off the foam pad on running warm water before tossing it into the bucket with snappy.

Cant be cause you left it overnight. I actually leave mine for a few days cause i end up forgetting about it and nothing has happened.

As mentioned though if i used 106, usually i have a brown stain from the polish but thats about it.

Yeah I've had that issue, but I let them soak for 20 mins then had to squeeze out the 106ff. Definetly rinse them before soaking them.

What's your process with the Micro-Restore? Since it can degrease MF's of polish and wax, figured this would be a good alternative to Dawn or buying Snappy Clean for pads.

i clean pads right after use so no need for presoak and used that cleaner packet today, works fine i guess

Hi Bonehead. My process is very simple. I soak my pads and towels (not together) in a big sink I have in my basement. I only use one ounce or less and let soak for only a few minutes and then wash and rinse by hand. Then I towel dry as much as I can or spin dry with my back up rotary and thats it...:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Excellent! Thanks, Buddy! Have any experience with Menz Power Lock? Does it work with this stuff too?
