Finished what I started, I had detailed the interior a few days prior to this and was planning on doing a full polish on this. I ended up just tossing a coat of Powerlock on since it's going back in storage soon anyways. I tried Zep Purple on this and well...the pictures speak for themselves. It's an amazing tire cleaner, the only tire cleaner that I find is stronger is Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner. Even then two applications of Zep Purple will yield the same results. Is Zep Purple 1:3 safe on body panels? did you just pull those pin-strips off using heatgun or any adhesive?
I would stick to Zep Citrus for body panels. I left the car out under the sunlight and that was enough to be able to take the pin-stripe off.

Brendan, I used powerlock in my previous detail (the black MB E430) for the first time and I was blown away as well. Like you said, it goes on so easy and the removal is effortless. Plus, the shine and slickness is second to none. I can't imagine using anything else besides powerlock. I love this stuff. Congratulations on your EVO MR purchase man!!!!! It will be a blast driving that thing!
Damn Brendan . . . . . i didn't even know you were from Canada LoL. Nice job man. I was looking at the Zep Purple cleaner today while at home depot. I need to figure out what is the better buy. Right now i'm using bleach white and that works better then any tire cleaner i have used this far . . . . . . but if this Zep Purple works just as good might grab the 5 Gallon container. You got that Pathfinder a nice glossy coat that it was lacking in the before. Looks fantastic.
Thanks! Yeah I can't wait to get it. The Evo's were never sold up here until the Evo 10. So the Evo 1-9s are more rare in Vancouver than a Murcielago :shead: Thanks! Zep Purple is a great tire cleaner, I personally would never use bleach on tires. So I can't speak from experience but you won't be disappointed with Zep Purple at 3:1.
