Detailed this Audi A8 last year and this time it was in for a quick wash and wax + interior vacuum. Car was in mediocre shape, paint had some bonded contaminates but nothing to bad. Didn't clay it at the owners request since it is sold. Nothing done on the exhaust tips or engine bay. I didn't get pictures of the interior as it wasn't to bad to being with.

Wheels were in pretty rough shape. Nothing baked on but a lot of brake dust and a lot of splatter. These wheels take a long time to clean :(

Looking good Brendan! That's a lot of real estate to cover. How long did it take you if you don't mind?

Thanks Marc, the wheels took the longest since it had the lip behind the face of the wheel and there are so many spokes. I started around 9:30 and finished at around 2:30. I had a breakfast break after wash and wheels. Pretty basic detail just wash, wheels, wax, spot polish on the rear bumper, and quick interior vacuum. He sold the car so he didn't want it clayed or polished.

This car is truly amazing, I can't believe how cheap they are now. For a 2005 it's under $25,000 and this gets better gas mileage than our G35S. Trying to convince the parents to get rid of the G now:thud:

Cheap because they're expensive to maintain. Electronics are a crapshoot as well. Unfortunately I found out the hard way . Cars lookin good! :thumb:

looks good man. I think i personally would have just blasted out the exhaust tips anyways but the car came out great. The good side to having all the electronic sensors now is to know more or less when something really wrong is going down . . . . . the bad is that the sensors cost a ton to replace when they go bad.

Thanks! It truly is a beautiful car. I'd take this over BMW's 7 series any day.
    Thanks!
LOL...yeah makes sense. I would have gone over the tips but the owner wanted the car back pretty quick and wanted a really basic wash and wax.
Yeah I've heard these are really unreliable, but it's an awesome looking car and it feels like driving on a cloud. Very comfortable ride.
