So hearing how some people are have crappy durability 1-2months, I wanted to know what you guys were getting? Any complaints?

Personally, its been 3 weeks now since I applied it and it still looks and feels good. But I have a feeling, that BFWD is still the champ :(

I'm pretty sure they are manufactured by the same company, but should I get BFWD. (but the main question here, is hows durability coming along?)

It's best to layer PL. I wish I knew how long the durability was, but I haven't kept track of it. The last time I washed my suv, I topped it with 1Z spray wax.

the product has been out for about 3 months, I have had it on the car for 3 months and its still going strong.

my car sits outside all day with no issues.

I actually trust Phil enough to not doubt his word...

My small newbie question - can I use carnauba wax over this sealant?

    Cheers!

yes you can put a wax on top.

believe it or not if I didn't like it I would not sell it or put it on customers' cars, but what do I know. :)

Exactly. Phil would know. Not only does he use it on customers vehicles as well as his own personal vehicle but he also sells it.

I don't know anyone who would sell something that they don't like or believe in.

news flash buddy . . . . . . i probably get out in one day more then you do in a week. I get out i'm not retarded. I know it's a big bad world out there where there seems to be a bunch of shady people . . . . . . but another news flash for you . . . . the vendors on this site have a good reputation for a reason and i'm sure that it doesn't come from years of being shady it comes from being helpful and honest.

Everyone on this forums shares there wealth of knowledge and it's up to everyone else on weather they want to believe it or not. Nobody is forcing you to believe anything. Believe what you want from who you want but don't doubt nor hate those that are reputable and are just trying to share some insight with the rest of the folks here.

You shouldn't be worried anyone as this isn't even a thread you started.

Phil is one who can be trusted. Period.

I also have similar experience with PL. Very durable.

I understand the tendency to question the ethics of a dealer this day and age, But I personally assure you, You will NEVER get jerked around by Phil. He is one of the most honest guys out there. When I selected a more expensive product over a cheaper one, he actually said, "Are you sure you want to do that?" Phil is golden. He would never give bad advice for the sake of selling product.

    seems comical banter isn't catching...

but since you're all excited now, how do you take a one line suggestion in one post and decide for yourself i have a vendetta against all the sponsors on the site

    stop being so melodramatic

ps: i have purchased from detailersdomain, my lusso stuff for eg

I use BFWD still and Powerlock, BFWD has great durability but has streaked on the finish a few times even when I shook the bottle thoroughly. Powerlock on the other hand has NEVER had this issue.....firstime everytime, the durability from BFWD seems a little better if only one coat is applied but when you layer Powerlock or top it with HD wax or Collonite 915 you have ease of use and protection.

P.S. but what do I know....................................... btw Phil runs this forum and had you spoke to the former owner the way you did you would have been clipped pronto, so that alone shows what a good guy Phil is and a REAL freedom of speech that is allowed here.

Going way off topic here :p

Anyways, is it worthwhile to pick up BFWD if I already have MPL? If people say they are too similar to tell apart, another $23 is not very well spent? But I'll have to see my findings, juts have to tell my uncle I wont touch his car for the next 2 months ;) (other than washing)

Not worth it. I have 70% of a bottle of BFWD just sitting on the shelf now after MPL. Some say BF gives a warmer look on darks but I have yet to see any distinguishable difference between the two products in looks or feel, if anything MPL is a bit slicker to the touch.

I had more smearing issues with BF WD hence why I bought MPL, based on looks alone its negligible.

Well thats great to here :) Saved me $22.49, last thing, Has anyone tried Hyperdressing? Is it worth it 3:1 compared to 2:1 Optibond on wheel wells and engines? They both are pretty much the same price, but as for lasting Opti-Bonds been good, but I have 20oz left, but wanted something for wheel wells and engines in bulk.

    Recommend me anything!
