    Hey guys

Part 2 of my GTR detail and finished up today

    Products Used;
    - DP Xtreme in the WG Foam Gun
    - Lusso Oro Auto Bathe
    - 2 passes Menz 203S on white CCS
    - Clearkote RMG + VMG (Pink Moose) on black CCS
    - 2 layers Lusso Oro on 4" LC Gold + Polishing Pal
    - PB B&B on tyres
    - Z-AIO + 2x 476S on wheels
    - Optimum Metal Polish + WG DGS on exhaust tips

This was the first time i used Lusso Oro in a full application and this was one of the best waxes ive used so far. From the first swipe it was the smell that had me hooked, a pleasant coconut smell not disimilar to the Lusso Auto Bathe.

It spread like butter, very similar to Vics Red in its ability to spread super thin and smooth. Went one panel at a time and removed effortlessly. And i emphasis effortlessly, the easiest wax ive used so far to remove, literally one swipe and it was all off. This made it so easy to layer the wax as i was flying through the first app.

I havent had a good chance to check out the finish as i finished up at my parents place at night, and only seen it under the neons light of my apartment garage (pics below). From what i can see this wax is more about depth then outright reflectivity. And on solid black thats what i prefer, depth and a pure deep black finish, and here the Lusso has impressed.

The car got a bit dusty driving the 25km back to my place and my digicam isnt the best for this type of lighting, anyways enjoy the pics

Nice work on a fantastic car! Bit if a finicky color to get 100% right?

Im not a wax guy at all but Lusso is great, their shampoo is all I use on my own car (solid black like yours)

yep im a lusso auto bathe convert, and have stockpiled a bit of a collection of it now

finicky paint for sure, i went through about 10 MFs because the slightest bit of dust on the towel would put fine scratches back in the paint, and id have to go back over the panel again. I found the plastic parts like the rear wing and bumpers were super easy to cut and more resistant to scratching, which was great because my rear bumper had the worst swirls, especially in the numberplate recess - dont think this area was touch during the dealer detail

i can already tell the paint is going to swirl up pretty easily with washing - which is strange because my solid black 350Z wasnt this soft. I think back to that car and i used foam sponges to wash it, and used to throw them out after 3-4 washes since they were so cheap to buy locally. I might switch to foam sponges and give that a shot

lucky ive got pretty much every swirl filler on the market in my cupboard waiting for a go lol

    thanks fellas

definitely a learning curve with this being my first solid black correction

i must say i have rekindled the love for my G220 after taking the D handle off, was so much easier to use two handed and also seemed easier to apply pressure and thus cut faster. This amp'd up my confidence alot and made today alot more enjoyable than last weekend

Finally! I remember you said Lusso was nothing special :p You've seen the light!

All kidding aside, it's a nice wax and after I use it the scent is in the garage and on the paintwork, freaking sweet, if I might add!

Beautiful car, and great work making her look this great. A shame about the soft black paint, would drive me bonkers after a while!
