Techno/Trance type songs?

Im uploading a good session from Hai Lee Chen for you right now. I'll come back and post a link up to it when it finishes. It's 3 hours of straight trance and progressive.

I have been listening to and the spinning (real 12; vinyl not this CD dj'ing) for 18 years.

I started when living in Los Angeles and started going to warehouse break in parties... At that point it was called the "underground" scene. Literally promoters would break into abandoned warehouses and bring generators (if needed) and have a huge, everything goes party... good times

I have amased a huge collection of 12" vinyl, right now I am REALLY loving the sounds of the Dirty Bird label out of San Francisco...

 

Did you see the Kaskada - I Remember video I posted? The video is exactly about what you describe above...

 

older BT is great, new stuff is good but the old stuff is trance

try finding a site that you can download the weekly sets many producers/DJs have been putting out. every time i find new music, its from one of these. 1-2 hour sets, put them on in the background, and when you hear something that grabs you, you can check out the set list and find the titles.

i don't speak russian or rb3lk or whatever their language is, but common sense should help you navigate the site. i've been using it for years, and they update it constantly.

i've been hooked on Anjunabeats/trance around the world with Above & Beyond, etc. there is no end of amazing talent making electronic music.

If you're a fan of Aphex Twin, I suggest you check out the live sets he's doing around Europe this year, the Metz show in France is up on youtube and features a few of his new tracks.
