I would get it weighed 2oz

I will not comment on both waxes yet. As i have not had the pleasure of using them. Only holding them. Time will tell if they are all that they are cracked up to be.

Celeste Dettaglio will be out in about 2 weeks i believe as its being poured as we speak , its been a while coming and im overwhelmed personally with it and everything about it from the look to ease of use. Ive detailed a few cars with it now and am happy with the final sample and the scent has now been added.

Not sure I'm excited - CG has made a business of repackaging near same items and selling as a step in either direction.

Not that their stuff isn't good, I love mine, but most detailers who like their stuff already compare Ezyme to swissvax, which seems a pretty high standard imo.

Looking forward to seeing it come out . Also more information on it once available such as price, durability, size.

I can't help but wonder what % carnauba it is, if it is the highest available like they say. I like their stuff and I think Pete's 53 is nice and 50/50 is pretty awesome especially at the price, but Hmm. As for right now I'll keep my Zymol Vintage. Not quite ready to fork over that kind of money to CG just yet. I just wouldn't seem right. Lol

Just held CD earlier today. Beautiful label they put on there, and the scent is quite nice. IIRC, it's 98.5% carnauba.

i doubt it, would be hard as a rock

maybe of the 40% for example wax in it, 98.5% is carnauba while the remaining 1.5% is made up of paraffin, bees wax, candilina etc

which then begs the question.... whats so special about that when P21S 100 uses 100% carnauba

all this hype, seems to be more about the marketing and packaging than the actual wax itself

    Percentage of wax content

Misinformation propagates the myth that increasing the Carnauba content of a wax will greatly improve the wax. 100% carnauba really means that all of the wax used in the product is Carnauba (i.e. no Beeswax or other waxes are used) It's worth pointing out that this part of the formula could be as little as maybe 3% of the overall product

This is only very marginally true at best; most carnaubas advertised with 50% or more Carnauba wax content is truly advertising a weight, not a volume. 30% by volume is about 50% by weight is about t estimated carnauba saturation point 25-35% natural Carnauba (approx 35% Carnauba by volume makes it almost impossible to add/remove) that’s why you never can truly assess the amount of Carnauba in a manufactured wax unless the manufacturer specifically lists its content stated by percentage weight or volume.

So I am supposed to walk around a $100k car with a 5lb SQAURE, METAL jar of wax to apply?

    Yea cool sounds reasonable :mounty:

I don't that metal box is what that particular wax came in. I think it's for a different wax that CG makes. Wish I could buy some, but the beaters down here don't deserve expensive waxes.
