Who has personal experience. I've heard nothing, but great things about Glasur. However, some guy locally is selling his Destiny for a pretty good price, it was used once and put in the fridge since. He is asking $400 for the Destiny and Glasur is only $100. The Destiny won''t come with a box, it is opened and used, but does have a certificate. The Glasur I can pick up locally to for $96 + tax. Here's the thing though....the ingredients are almost IDENTICAL.

Destiny contains 51% White Carnauba Wax, Montan Oil, Coconut Oil, Banana Oil, Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil, Propolis (derived from Bees), Cetyl Esters, Cetyl Cocoamide (derived from coconut oil).

Glasur contains Yellow Carnauba Wax, 56% by volume, Montan Oil, Coconut Oil, Banana Oil, Avocado Oil, Propolis (derived from Bees), Cetyl Esters, Cetyl Cocoamide (derived from coconut oil).

Is the sunflower oil, and almond oil that is extra in the Destiny really going to deliver a shine that is $300 pricier than Glasur, I personally don't think so, but I'd love some opinions.

Lololol. I think you'll like Ezyme. Just dont let it dry for more than 10min or so. Then its sorta annoying to remove. Maybe it was just the hotass day yesterday though.

You used yours? Was it easy to spread. From the way it wipes on the applicator it seems like butter. I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for the removal tip...I usually let my waxes sit for 20+ minutes :thud:

Check out my newest thread in the Show N Shine- a '88 Porsche 911. But yeah its not like Insignis in terms of spreadability, as well as removal. But yeah dont let it dry for too long!

This topic came up elsewhere, and a guy who has used both of them, said on a well prepped (darker color) car there was a slight difference in looks. The Destiny had maybe a little more wetness.

The Glasur was recommended over the Destiny because of the huge price difference. I have both, but haven't had a chance to use the Destiny yet. I really like the Glasur though.

I got a great deal on Destiny is why I bought it.. However, if your asking me if I would pay $300 more for Destiny over Glasur (if I had to pick) I would say no.. This is just my opinion.

If you don't mind spending the money buy both, but if you don't feel like shelling out $500 plus, just buy the Glasur.. You won't be disappointed. I'll tell you that much.

I have tried both. Both waxes are playing in a high end legue. But I sold both of it after several usings. Destiny is a great show down wax, but has one of the most badest durability I have ever seen, the beading is bad too. Glasur has a good durablity and a high gloss. Maybe its the best -in front of its price- wax from Zymol. Vintage is the best -overall, but very expensive.

If you are looking for a wax with a payable price, take the Glasur.

Part of me really wants to try destiny, but my desire for new waxes has become almost nonexistent (thank god!) due to my acquisition of glasur. I don't think its the end all be all of waxes, but for ME it is :)

Thats IT! Im getting it in the summer...

I just want to know, 1) Is it easy to use? 2) Is the durability good?

    Thanks

When I tried it compared to Zymol Concours (which I have), it was easier to use and at least on my test between the two, had far better durability. I used them on my black Saab which has perfect paint so I could not see the difference between the two for the life of me. When I removed them from my test panel, Concours was pretty fargone and Glasur was still going pretty well after 4 months outside.

    define easy?

its not as easy as DG AW, but it is a WOWO and as long as you follow the instructions you wont have any issues

durability for me is a non issue as i wax once a month regardless, that and weekly top the wax with field glaze, but i have seen reports between 3-6 months

glasur is zymol's sleeper wax, since its one of the vehicle marquee waxes and people tend to not clump it with their estate glazes (even though its higher priced and has more nuba content than their entry EG titanium)

another item is few people can see the difference between glasur, concours, and destiny, usually the boost in looks and performance comes in at the vintage level (since not very many people use atlantique and if they do they never post reviews). Regardless its a great wax and i dont think youll be disappointed with it in anyway, well other than the impossibly hard to close lid!
