How much DP extreme foam do you use?

I picked up some Detailer's pride extreme foam formula recently. I was playing with my foam cannon for the first time today. I mixed 2ounces of foam with 8 water in the bottle as the directions said. It started out weak but I dialed the cannon up until it made the sticky white foam all the demonstration videos and pictures show but only got half the vehicle done in a matter of seconds before running out.
Dialing it down make a watery stream and no sticky foam. What ratios do you use?

 

Foam cannon or Foam gun?

 

3 oz in 32 oz bottle...set your foam cannon on thickest foam setting possible...

 

do you fill the 32oz bottle right up with water? or stick to the 1:4 ratio?
