    Hi guys

Have started detailing my new car - no paint correction yet, just the little things first like interior protection, wheels, and for this review exhaust tips

These werent cleaned at all during the new car prep, and were full of carbon

Firstly the prep - while i was washing the car, i let some CG CW&G dwell on the tips. This shifted most of the carbon build up

And i was left with this

After 3 rounds of Optimum Metal Polish on an old MF i was starting to get somewhere. What i really like about the Optimum product is the fact its liquid based, this makes it so much easier to use than paste metal polishes imo, autosol for eg. It also has a pleasant odour to it, which is important for me since polishing multiple tips is quite time consuming and you're always right there with your face only cm's away from the tips

5 minutes laters, you can see the difference - Left side only polished

    And both tips complete

amount of cut/cleaning ability seems about on par with autosol, but finishes so much brighter, and being liquid you can work it longer

finished better even than my mothers billet, which always left tiny swirls no matter how clean my "old" mf's were

has got me keen to try optimum's final finish now - will it finish better than PO85RD?
