Has anyone had any luck with Blue Magic Headlight Lens Restorer? I saw some at the Dollar General and wondered if it would be worth picking some up. And if you have used it...do you buff it like a polish or is it more of a chemical reaction that restores the lights (like Autosol)?

    Thanks,

It should be a chemical reaction just like Autosol. I would just get the regular blue magic or autosol...you don't need a headlight specific product unless it says you can use it on chrome too.

I bought it...it was the only Blue Magic product they had. Now I just gotta find a car with foggy headlights to try it on :p

Normal Blue Magic metal polish works fine. I use it all the time on headlights. In fact, I was using it way before Autosol was recommended and whatnot

I think the headlight restorer is just re-badged metal polish. Because I just used it today on the tailpipe of my dad's Volvo, and it worked great!
