Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo @ Target

Hey, does anybody know if Target still carries the 1 gallon Gold Class wash at target for 10 bucks. If not where would be a cheap place to get it from locally? Thanks

 

auto parts store, kmart, walmart etc . . .

 

costco as well, by me its like 7.95 a gallon

 

target only carries the 64 oz bottle and iirc it's $8.17 (every where else it's $9.99). i was at walmart the other day and they had the end cap with the gold class wash in a 48oz bottle (don't know if this is a promotion or what) for $5...

 

I can't remember the last time I used Gold Class, it's been at least 2 years.

Detailing.com sells the gallon for $12.99. It's the cheapest I've ever seen it anywhere.

 

The only thing I use meg's GC for now is thickening Optimum Power clean dilutions for the presoak prior to a prep wash. I don't have a foam cannon/foam gun. So I put this concoction in a sprayer.

 

Interesting. Might need to try this little concoction out! Seems like Megs GC w/ any APC would work?

I usually just us Megs GC for my DD. That being said, for an OTC product it works sufficient.

 

Yessir. You can use it as a general thickener for a lot of all purpose cleaners. Just make sure that whatever you are using it on can be rinsed sufficiently (so probably not a good idea on engine bays or interiors).

I do the same but I use megs deep gloss instead and use it to thicken my wheel cleaners so they have have better cling.

 

I used to do that as well, and originally whyI started adding shampoo to a spray bottle of product. Don't need a thickener, now that I use diablo
