Best 35 dollars you can spend on a wax, I'm going to try applying with my PC next time - just to see how that does.

 

i'd love to see this compared with CG 5050...maybe ill do it myself....

 

One of the local walmarts got it in stock and of course I bought some. I like the looks of it and it will be interesting to see how durable it is. Has anyone topped HD with anything? Or would you want to do that or why one would want to? Just curious.

 

Went down to Canadian Tire yesterday to see if they had any Autoglym HD and they did so I bought it and some autoglym quick detailer. I washed the car with megs ultimate car wash, dried it off and applied the HD wax(car was clayed last week so I skipped this step cause I wanted to try the wax ASAP lol). This wax is so easy to apply and smells good. Let the wax cure for 45 minutes and then buffed it off. Wow this wax leaves the paint very wet and shiny looking it's worth way more then it retails for. Go get some asap if you don't have any in your collection.

I went to the local WalMart hoping to find some and couldn't find any in the detailing section. I was walking around the auto dept as I needed some random car parts, and tucked away in the corner of Wally world was their clearance section with a bunch of random stuff (golf balls, hats, etc) What did I find... some AG HD wax for $30! There was two boxes left and I bought one as I'm just a casual detailer. Thinking about going back and seeing if the other box is left.

Just went out tonight and picked up a box of HD. I cannot wait to try it out.

Fianally used my Saturday on my wifes satin silver accord. Love the look it gave the car. Bright glossy silver. The wax went on eassy slight "grabby" when removing but still easy. That night we had real bad T storm next afternoon not one waterspot. Raining again today so we shall see tomorrow how she looks.

 

Zymol HD-Cleanse- a pure polish and chemical paint cleanser, which works very well on clear film. It will restore the lustre and shine back in the film and either eliminate the scratches or make them less visible.

 

Can HD be applied over Klasse AIO?

I applied Klasse yesterday, went to Canadian Tire today and saw HD on sale for I think $37. Did not buy it though because i have like $15 in Canadian Tire money. :headbang:
Needless to say i'll pick it up this evening.

 

No- as a chemical paint cleaner will remove previouly applied product

 

I dont want to remove HD wax, i want to apply HD wax on top of Klasse AIO paint cleaner. Is that ok?

 

You should be fine with that.

 

Here's some beading shots from my wash today. I really like Autoglym's HD Wax - first wash in 3 weeks, one coat of wax. Car has stayed outside for the most part, garaged for a week when I was away. It's still glossy, and beading really well! Sorry I didn't get any shots of vertical surfaces, forgot and dried them before I went to grab the camera!
