Ok so let me start out by saying these are two great products from DoDo. I feel like every product I've ever tried that they put out has lead to great success, and neither one of these mitts are a let down. Ok so initial feel, they both feel equally soft, but the Wookie hairs are bit more clumped and thick. The Yeti's hairs feel very thin and there are soooo many of them its insane. The glove part itself is of higher quality on the Wookie, as it doesn't allow water to seep in, and the knitting is nicer too. The Yeti, during the wash felt great. Both glide along the paint with 0 effort. What I did notice though is the Yeti foamed up the soap on the paintwork, while the Wookie holds so much water the soap and water just fall off. I'm not sure which of those traits I like more at the moment, but neither mar my paint so its no big deal. The Yeti is significantly smaller and holds a smaller amount of water, but compared to my Microfiber Mitt, and my old Uni Mitt they both hold oceans. I prefer the Yeti's size more, but I like the Wookie's hairs more. If I had to chose only one to own it would be the Wookie, but only by a small margin. The $5 savings is nice on the Yeti and that can easily be a reason to buy it, as you're not going to see much of a difference between the two.

That short hair looks like a better overall wash media then the regular wookie.

I just ordered the Yeti because my eurow mitt got a hole in it after only about a year :(. $42 after shipping from autogeek and that's including a 10% discount! I'm sure it will be worth it though, thanks for your review!

i tryed it last year at our north jersey meet and greet.. its alittle much.. when you dunk it in the bucket it absorbs like 4 gallons of water.. freakin thinks huge!!!!:yikes:

  11. I've got one also. Used it maybe 3 times. Damn thing ways a ton. Its like washing a car with a cinder block. Plus, you can't get in the tight areas as good. Furtheremore, you could get 2 or 3 quality sheep skins for the same price :duh:

Also, the damn thing scares the crap out of my cat :yikes:

I love my short hair wookie. I'm a short hair kind of guy, as it requires less maintaince...

I probably would have bought the short hair wookie had it been available here, but I think I'll probably be happy with the smaller size of the yeti, I'll report back with my impressions.

Used the yeti's fist for the first time today, it's fantastic! It soaks up so much water, if you're not careful, you'll empty your entire bucket in just a couple soaks. When I first got it I brushed it with my cats brush (I cleaned it), felt weird but the instructions said to do so. Hope it holds up.
