Norfolk, VA

    So tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly about Norfolk, VA as I may be moving up there in Aug.

    Going to be looking for an apartment up there, very good chance of it, unless something else comes up.

    So suggestions on places to look into and anything would be much appreciated.

    good luck on the Move if that helps lol, Im moving to Clarksburg MD soon, gonna suck becuz my DD delivery will be late as of now im in NJ

    haha thanks. Yeah the shipment times I will have get use to for some places, then again I wont have much time to detail.

    I am already bummed that I will have to remove my front euro place and remove the tint on my front windows (35% now) and bring it up to the 50% for VA. Dont know the exact details of how testing is done and when testing is done but going to have to do it before I register my car there anyways.

    I am packing up my apartment now to move back home for the summer and alreayd have 5 box's of just detailing stuff, going to fill up my GTI with just detailing supplies. I didnt realize I had this much stuff...garage sale at Ankeet's place this weekend! :lol:

    if you gonna pack all that stuff on your car, be safe and set the tire pressure higher, and check your brakes and other safety items. becuz after a detail trip to MD, my brakes were gone.

    Good thing is I keep up on my tire pressure and what not every week. Home is just 3 hrs from here so it wont be bad. But going to do a quick check before I leave in the AM tomm. Then back the next day to pack up more stuff, 1 exam next week, and next Friday and I will be done with college. That last part still has not set in yet...

    Coming from Philly, Norfolk is one boring place. I have friends down in Chesapeake, VA and as we drive around the area, Portsmouth, Norfolk. There is nothing exciting or fun to do. Also the cops around there are complete a**es. They will pull you over of anything and everything.

    Norfolk gets crazy in the summer.I used to go down there alot and it is close to VA beach.The cops are a drag and a P.I.T.A.
