Is paste wax hard to remove?

    Hey Guys,

    I just tried out Chemical Guys 5050 paste wax and it was a chore to buff out! Is this normal? I did leave it on for a couple hours.. too long?

    whenever I put on Meguiars NXT tech wax, I barely have to touch the towel to the car to remove it.

    You didn't put it on really thick did you?
    Most waxes you only need a very thin layer.

    yeah i wouldnt leave the wax on for a couple hours. sounds like thats your problem.

    Read the directions. Some waxes ( AG Hi Def ) need to dry completely while other ( BF Midnight Sun ) are to be applied and removed one or two panels at a time.
