This is second STI that was done right after previously posted black STI. Car was wrecked and rebuilt including the engine (upgraded turbo, fully built engine, FMIC).
Problem with this one was repaint was relatively bad, roof needed wetsanding. Hood was reading in 40 micron range which way too low to do anything but owner still asked to see what we can do after and he will re-spray if needed after next winter.
    anyway here is pics

most pics were done before final polish except for final pics)

    products used
    Menzerna 203, SIP, 85rd, megs 105
pads purple wool pad, orange, yellow, green, blue, black
    rejex on wheels (selant)
    p21s TAW and WC
    megs super degreaser on tires
    poor boys natural looks
1000, 2000 and 3000 grit sand paper (driver headlight and roof)
    Sonus Green clay
sprayway window cleaner (no ammonia, safe for tint)

    Process
Car was sprayed with P21s Total Auto Wash twice and washed with Chemical Guys CitrusWash. car was clayed with Sonus green clay but there werent much contamination because car was at shop since it was repainted before we got it.
hood was polished with 85rd and green and blue pads becouse no abrasives could be used, was reading in 40s and customer was made aware of that.
spoiler was polished with M105 and wool pad and then menz 203 and orange, then we took it off and set it aside. under spoiler was polished along with rest.
whole car was hit with 105 and followed with 203 and 85. then hit with p21s paint cleanser and sealed with BF Wet diamond. waxed with Souveran wax and washed to get rid of all polishing dust and dried.

looks great man. You got STi after STi LoL.

Nice operation as well. I wish i was a heck of a lot busier so i could open up a shop. I love the idea of a fixed location.

any pics of how the hood came out (before an after) curious to see what the polishing only came up with. Nice to see you were able to save a paint job that was on the ragged edge! What did you use to polish the headlight?

headlights were done with 1000, 2000 and 3000 grit, then polished with menzerna 203 and orange pad and 85 and blue uber pad

no dont have any good pics of hood with lights on it but it turned out just like rest of the car
    [IMG]
hood was from 70 to 40 so it wasnt in 40s everywhere
