Autogeek Commercial?!

I'm watching "Pawn Stars" on The History Channel... and I just saw a commercial for Wolfgang DGPS and Autogeek.net!!

Looks like they've raised the bar for advertising. I personally don't shop there, but seems like they're making some good money to afford that!

as far as them making money . . . . . it probably doesn't cost a lot. It all depends on the station and what not and it isn't on a major major channel. The commercial frankly was pretty lame.

 

It's not cheap. I looked into this about 2 years ago and just the cost of having a commercial made is expensive, at least one that's worth a crap. Then running a nationally aired commercial is outrageous. An upside down billboard on top of Mount St. Helens is expensive too. Not a fan of the geek but I can't knock em for doing their thing.

 

i guess there are just a ton of variable that go into it.

 

i would agree with what was said above that there would be so many things that depends on the price. if you only used certian channels. i mean if your looking to see auto supplies, you would use speed and history channel and things like that. plus the quality of the commerical and the length prolly makes a differnace in price.

pawn stars is sick! They always get some off the wall stuff in there. pretty amazing pawn shop if you ask me. They must have a ton of money because they make some off the wall deals at times.

 

If I would see an AG commercials on TV I would punch something.

Why all the animosity towards Autogeek, I don't get it. They've been nothing, but great to deal with. Then again so has every other detailer vendor that I've dealt with, but thats not the point. I don't get while people like P1et hate them so much?

 

Are you part of their online community? And if so, when did you join? This is something that goes back many years for me, as well for others.

By the way, there is a great thread about AG on Autopia in regars to your statement. Explains a lot of it.

I only recall an AG hate thread a couple weeks ago. From what i remember it didn't say to much.
