I was there when you got it at Phil's ... Rog is that the only one you own?

The last time I went to Lowes here in Canada they had the Gilmour pump sprayers in the gardening section. Can't remember the exact price but it was less than $20.

If plastic tips are cool, my local Big Lots has pump sprayers for 4.50!

Strong chemicals like wheel acid will still eat through the pumps it just takes longer than a normal sprayer.

Totally agree, that is what HD sprayers are for from US Plastics.

    Gdal,

I just went to Home Depot this afternoon and got something very similar for like $6 and change.

I'm going to go take a snap of it and I'll post it when I get it done.

Here is the sprayer I was talking about:

    mutmanns,

What are you using in them? I purchased one earlier in the year and have ONR (wash strength) in it.

I purchased 4 more after noticing they had returned to the shelf (they were pulled about a week after I purchased the original one and nobody at the store could tell me why. I vowed if they ever returned I'd stock up on them(i might even go back and get a couple more)).

What benefit does an atomizer provide that a normal spray bottle doesnt?

I wonder how these cheap sprayers will hold up to use. My spraymaster spray bottles with viton "chemically resistant" o-rings got eaten up by Meg's APC over time. These cheapies aren't even using any chemically resistant parts (to my knowledge).

We offer a 1.5 liter (51 fl oz) atomizer sprayer. It's more pricey than what you find at the garden store but it can handle all types of chemicals and viscosities without issue. It won't corrode from acids and can be used to apply lubricants. Another key difference from lower cost ones is that there are no metal parts to corrode (this includes any kind of springs that maybe be part of the pump mechanism). Those are the parts that usually fail first.

One thing to keep in mind whenever using an atomizer is that you should always depressurize it after use to reduce pressure on the o-rings. Left unpressurized, the o-rings will fail earlier and it can begin to leak.

The einszett atomizer sprays a fine mist to a stream. The handle can be locked for continuous spray or to prevent from spraying.

As far as advantages of the atomizer... We usually sell them to detail and repair shops that are buying our products in bulk so they have to use a sprayer. They choose the atomizer for easy application vs. a standard sprayer.

    Hope this helps!

From my experience, You'll use more product (not tons though), but you will be able to get better coverage vs. spray-bottle coverage. It's easier on the hands too ... (I'm that lazy ... lol).
