can I use the white pad that comes with the PC 7424XP to apply an LSP?

I forgot to order something to help apply wax... it looks like this thing will do the trick, but I don't want to damage my freshly corrected paint! has anybody tried this?

I use these with cleaner waxes like DG501 and JW Prime.

white pad is really good with DG501, but very hard to wash off.

it sounds like it's soft enough to avoid swirls.

will it work alright with wax like colli 845, without inducing paint damage?

Noo...the white pad/backing plate that CAME with your pc is worthless for paint surfaces...immediately toss that pad

Whoops! Didn't see that, just saw white pad. Yeah I used that to clean rust off of a grille last year. Obviously threw it out.

Not sure if the pad is the same as it was when I bought my PC about 5 years ago, but it was decent for light swirl removal. It was basically a thick white foam pad permanently affixed to a backing plate. First time I ever used the PC was with that pad and SSR1. Pad didn't last very long. I think it does have some mild cut to it like a finishing pad, so I probably wouldn't use it with a LSP. Most LSPs are simple enough to do by hand.
