OptimumTechnologes Dr. G. has designed a unique polishing system that which no longer require a cream type base. These abrasives are now delivered in a liquid spray-able form. The advantage here is that the Polish and Compound are now laid down on the painted surface more evenly which allows the whole face of the pad to be covered with the product.

Along with the new polishes are new pads, including a unique silk-wool levelling pad that has been designed with these new spray-able products in mind. For those wanting a comparison in terms of cut, the Hyper Compound is on a par with Megs 105 with less dust and better surface finish. The Hyper Polish can be compared to Menzerna Power Finish

thats brilliant, I knew that the day would come.
I predicted that spray sealants like Gtechniq C2 would become a reality back in the early 2000's and also believed that spray on corrective polishes would come also

the next thing (and which I'm working on with a chemist and a friend in the US who I'm joining in June) is products to reflow modern paint and molecular fusion to eliminate the need for sanding to fix orange peel as well as make abrasive polishes no longer necessary due to the scratches and swirls being dissolved back into the paint via reflow.

The concept is cool, but it all depends on how well they finish down and correct.

    UPDATE_

    Spray Polish

Optimum Polymer Technologies Hyper Polish Spray - contains a combination of water based, non- filling (accidental or intentional) micro non-diminishing and diminishing abrasives This combined technology allows Optimum Hyper Polish Spray to cut as long as necessary to remove blemishes. The abrasive level can be compared to Menzerna Power Finish PO 203S it removes 2000 grit sanding marks while still finishing smooth and glossy.

Application - use an OPT silk-wool levelling pad with a rotary buffer at 1200-1600 RPM and medium pressure (not suitable for use with PFW pads)

    It sounds interesting.

When more people actually use it, we will see how it really compares to M105, etc. Like prior polishes, it seems optimized for the rotary.

Saw that is available on autogeek now. Haven't seen the new pad yet though. Went ahead and ordered some. I have Prima pads for my PC does anybody know if the aggressiveness for a given pad are about equal to other polishes?

Any special tips on working it?

I will order some when it gets in stock, not a big fan of jumping on pre-orders but I am going to get some! The only problem now is that I am trying to decide on this or getting Gtechniq P1 and P2 to try out as I have heard they are amazing.
