Yeah for sure. Tough program. Are you following the diet plan pretty closely? I was looking at it and don't know how close I'm gonna follow.

im just eating chicken and rice, and sandwiches ...and muscle milk protein shakes...but yes you have to eat healthy to get good results...but you dont have to follow the diet...just as long as you eat good...not crappy food

I did P90X for 30 days before I had to stop and I absolutely loved it. I was seing results around 2 weeks and the amount of strength you feel after awhile is awesome. I think it goes beyond just the physical change though, the mental change is good too. You feel so clean and pure after doing it for awhile. I am going to jump back on it again soon. Make sure you have enough space to do it. I thought I was going to have enough room but quickly realized I didn't and had to adjust.

everyone's on the p90x thing i see. I found the DVD's while cleaning up in which belonged to a cousin of mine . . . . . the bad part is it's missing like 2-3 DVD's.

Anyone want hit me with a backup copy?

wouldn't mind trying it to see what kind of results can be had from it.

I have done the P90X and what a work out! I could barely keep up with the girls on the video! hahaha. Just in 2 weeks I lost 7 lbs but then I decided stop the weekly routine and just incorporate the P90X with my regular work out routine because I'm trying to gain more muscle :)

It's encouraging knowing that people have seen such considerable results in such a short amount of time. I'm hoping to tone up a bit more, definitely fell out of shape since my V.track and field days. I'm at 140 @ 5'6 right now, hoping to move up to 145 but lose body fat at the same time.

Same here. I used to play some college football and I was up to 240 but too bulky so I slimmed down to 190 but had no definition or anything more so P90X helped with that. I plan on starting back up again soon too.

P90x is awesome. my girlfriend and I started it.. we got through about a week, and couldn't handle it anymore.. lol so now we'ss do 1 disk every other week and call it a day. I remember her older brother joined us one day, previously telling us on how it's probably not that bad.. that night we did CardioX, and he threw up after the work out. haha

keep up the work out though. I know I don't follow the required regimen, but I do feel like my once in a while p90x workout helps out

Just finished day 1...sorta. Were you guys able to actually finish the workout the first few days? At like 45 minutes my arms were straight rubber. Had the will to do more reps but my muscles weren't agreeing. I feel like crap because I wasn't able to do all of excercises. I guess I must be reaaallly out of shape

I have it and can probably burn you a couple DVDs. Let me know what you need and I'll mail it to you.

I did p90x for a while and it definitely helped me out a lot. Although I don't do it anymore I still use the AbripperX.

I'm 6'2 175lbs so im pretty lean. I've changed my workout plan to gain more strength and a bit of size too. Seeing some good results.

I supplement with Isoflex, I like it a lot and it doesn't taste like horse shit. 30gs of protein per serving. what's every1 else use?

I use Isopure. 50g/serving + bunch of vitamins and no carbs. Kind of expensive though. I think it was like $35/22servings. Bunch of different flavors available. I have apple melon and it pretty much just taste like apple-ly horse shit.

50g per serving?!?! man thats a lot. I think my cousin has the same one....

Realistically though 50g sounds fine and dandy but can your body handle that much protein at a given time?

When I was living in the gym (2 a days) back in high school I was on Muscle Juice. It's a weight gainer with 50g of protein that I use to take. I look back and the only thing I remember from those days were running to the bathroom and the smelliest farts you can imagine.

That is a sign that your body hasn't digested or absorbed the protein and basically just pissed or shat it out.

Do you get the same symptoms with isopure?

  19. Ch40t1c

    Ch40t1c Obsessive Detailer

I only take a little more than half a serving right after I work out. I thought 50g was a little excessive too, and a bit hard on my wallet if it would only last me 22 days. So far no symptoms like you described thankfully haha.

Completed the whole 3 months but followed the diet very losely (I have problems preparing food) so my protein intake might have been very weak.

It gave me good results, but I only lost 12lbs (from 210lbs to 198lbs). I gained lots of muscles.

I'm re-doing with my wife to get her back in shape after 2 pregnancy and she's dropping pounds like crazy. It's hard to incorporate it with a 2 years old and a 2 months old baaby ;) but we are doing it.
