This paint is naked... no lsp

These pics were taken after multi step polishing and multiple IPA wipedowns and then a thorough wash to remove any trace of polishing oils.

I just wanted to demonstrate that when properly prepped (see pics below), lsp regardless of wax or sealant (especially in a picture over the net) is not discernable.

Thanks to all for playing along!!! For those that guessed right:thumb::thumb::thumb:

i figured it was naked, however, the title is misleading and forces a wrong decision

If properly prepped cars give you the similar finish as wax/sealant does. Wouldn't wax/sealant ing your car saves more time?

do you think that one could visually distinguish between a sealant and a wax if they were applied 50/50 on a single panel? it would be interesting to see the differences on a single panel

Applying wax or sealant on an unprepared surface will not give you the same results. The point of this was to show you that applying a wax or sealant to a well prepared surface will not improve the looks that much. It may alter it ( add more depth or gloss ) but it won't improve it that much. Hope that makes sense.

Even two years ago, that would have been a relatively easy task but today with polymers being added to Nubas etc, its getting harder to tell.

    Ken answered this one perfectly

Not in pictures.... In person, dependant on the particular wax/sealant being compared... Possibly
