my I phone stop working today after I turned it off and restarting it , cause I couldn't make a phone call to steamer cleaners about my shipment. This phone is killing me, 1st week I had it, I dropped it in the toilet then I paid for another one. now its acting up, kinda wish I never gotten this phone, kinda wish it was like the good old days, where we talk instead of text. I remember I asked this hottie in the gym for her phone # n she gave it to me, and told me to text her!!! WTF so I didn't waste my time.
I'm in the same boat, I hate I-phones...My wife has one, and using it is like brushing your teeth through your a$$hole...literally...everything is backwards...Also the phone is not loud enough to hear ANYTHING in it! It's pretty much for texters and internet browsers... If you want a smart phone, get a Blackberry...
My wife gets a phone supplied through work. Her last phone was a Blackberry and I hated it. It sounded like she was fading in and out all the time. The Iphone sounds much better than her old BB. That's my opinion from being on the receiving end of them, not using them.
those that do not want their iphones, please PM me so i can give you my address for shipping. i went from a BB to iphone and apart from BBM i dont miss it one bit. my iphone has been great since day one. JB it a week later, i have everything i want
i guess everyone has mixed opinions about iphones. AT&T's plans are pretty expensive . . . . . that is their down fall. Not sure if it would make sense to have the iphone and use a different carrier.
You can jailbreak to iphone to have it work on tmobile, the benefits of that is tmobile is cheaper, and you aren't require to get an internet plan. The con of that is that the frequency for tmobile 3g is not compatible with the iphone's.
I started a thread about phones on a different board and someone posted a link for a HTC phone that is coming out for Sprint this summer. The phone looks awesome. I'll find the link to the phone and throw it up here.
They replaced my I phone, I love my I phone again, its one of those things U love and hate it at the same time. lol
I am on my 3rd iPhone after having used all 3 generations, not by choice, but because I broke the first 2. Can't really blame the phone, since I dropped/threw them on both occasions and busted the screens. Overall I have been pretty happy with them. I have contemplated trying out the Blackberry 9700. I see a lot of positive press about Blackberrys and I have never actually owned one myself.
to be honest felllas, I dropped my 2nd I phone so many times to test out my new OtterBox case, 5 ft 8ft 10 ft, and not a scratch. I guess it really messed up the inside lol, cuz the exterior is like new.
I have a blackberry tour and I love the SMS/mms/email features, I believe that bb is unbeatable in these areas. I also love the keyboard. The one thing that I can't stand about the iPhone besides the inability to multitask is the keyboard. I've had an iPod touch for over a year now and still can't stand the keyboard. (you can tell if you look closely enough that I typed this on an iPod because everything is capitalized and punctuated properly lol) I do have to say though, safari is the best browser available for smartphones at the moment
ive had the iphone for 2 years now and love it. its the 3g version. its out of warrinty now so i jail broke it and, it makes it even that much more awsome, with all the crazy apps i can get now. i can multy task, teather internet from my iphone to my laptop while out drving using the att network. only problem i ever had was when i first got the phone about 3 months in i had to completly reset the whole phone casue somting went wrong but other than that it is awsome. i would recomend to any one.
It's the network, not the phone. Replacing the SIM card has helped in some instances with the failed calls. I'm having the same problem, it's driving me insane, but I know it's AT&T's fault and not the phones.
The thing is, Richy, I refuse to learn to change...and to those that tell me to change I tell: "I'll keep my money, my freedom, and my guns...you keep the "change""... I'm and old dog, to me all Apple applications are backwards...Maybe I need myself a rugged satellite phone, who cares if it's ugly, it works, and it's loud...
That's about to change with the upcoming release of the Blackberry Browserkit. This will allow for full browsing including flash, which you can not get on Safari mobile or any other mobile browser.
My friend said this to me one night... "The iphone is like having a huge penis, you can't help but whip it out and play with it in front of everyone"
that is awesome!!! I'm up for an upgrade and will seriously consider it... more like a huge penis that does not harden...:yikes:
yeah. i heard about this a few months ago. ive been dying from anticipation. I just watched the demo video and all i can say is that im excited that it looks liek the blackberry's greatest weakness is finally being addressed! :worship2:
Yeap, super fast and full internet usability, like your web browser on your computer. What will the other cell phone makers do then when this webkit browser is released?
