Dodo Juice Austintacious

I have to admit this is the first Dodo juice wax I've used, and it's the first "boutique" wax I've used as well other than Souveran (if you consider that boutique). Anyway I just want to say how happy I am with this wax. I Just got it today and had to go and and give it a shot on my car. I layered it on top of Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 and it looks AMAZING! It looks wet, warm and has a glow. I always thought people were just saying that waxes like this look better but it really does! I think this might increase my addiction to collecting LSP's, only change is it just got more expensive...LOL. :crasy:

Is it so similar that it isn't worth having both? I ask b/c I was thinking of ordering a sample of SN, but for the price if Austin looks the same it's not worth it.

 

I can't bring myself to spend over fifty bucks for wax. I'm still considering buying Hi Def wax if I can find it at Walmart.

You are asking me if waxes are redundant? Surely you jest! This is DB! We all have acquisition syndromes. We need to buy more detailing stuff.

I will go out on a limb and say SN is going to be more durable than Austintacious. But they do give a similar look.

 

It's cloudy out today, I will take pics later this weekend since the pollen is so bad here I'll have to wash the car again anyway.

Good point, sample pot it is...lol. Seriously though I think I might try another wax first since they look similar, but SN will be mine at some point. :mounty:

How easy is Austintacious to apply? I REALLY like the looks of SN but I don't like to apply it.

 

Good that you like it. I still have not tried my Austintacious, got too many lsp's now lol.

 

Austintacious is very easy on/off, it is a lot easier to apply than SN.

 

Yeah it is VERY east to apply and after it hazes just a little it buffs right off. I can imagine like most waxes if it dries too long it might be a little difficut to remove. BTW thanks for the great price and super fast shipping Justin! It was my first order with you and I will be placing another very soon!

if you think SN is hard to apply, try RBOE...now that's HARD to apply/remove...but it gives you that stunning look!

 

I get what you guys mean by hard to removed, but what do you all mean by hard to apply?

oh ok I see, Thanks. So it is physically hard to get out of the container and onto the paint. I don't think I've ever run into that before, but again I've just started my collection of LSP's.

 

Some precision about hard application IMO: I would say its not the end of the world to get out of the container but it's difficult to apply on the paint. You have to keep a strong pressure on the pad even if you have enough product on it to maintain an even coverage.
