so i finally got around to trying out the HD wax. figured my moms new CC would be a nice test bed. my parents are away in florida, so today after work i shot down to their house to give my moms CC a little lovin so its nice and clean for her when they get back. just did a quick ONR wash, clayed with BH Soft and ONR at lube dilution, and then applied Autoglym HD wtih their supplied applicator. application was nice and smooth, as was product removal. as was told to me by others, the look of it is really nice. not that full nuba "glow" or sterility that some neubas provide. it actually has more of a sealant look to it. nice crisp reflections. feels pretty slick as well. my mom wont be taking very good care of her car, so it'll be easy to judge the durability of it . i did note one issue though, which could be due to the humidity, but once i pulled the car outside, it seemed like the wax was "sweating" or something along those lines. a very light haze was present on the hood, and i did not really notice it anywhere else. a wipedown with Gloss It gloss enhancer reduced this, but did not remove it completely. i will try and do a wipedown with some distilled water tomorrow.
Clean looking machine. I've seen these CCs with some BBS action and they look wicked. My favorite towel there as well I spy!
