    Emile Welcome to Detailing

Stopped by another local Auto Zone on the way home from work less than an hour ago. They had the Wheel Protectant but it was $8.49 a can plus tax!!!

I bought two bottles anyways, and I can't wait to try it out on my dad's car. I will take comparison pictures (one week without protection, one week with protection) and compare the results.

After one week, treated side is noticeably cleaner, almost no build up, while untreated side has build up of break dust.

I am going to have to get this stuff, it would be nice to have some kind of noticeable reduction in the amount of brake dust from my EBC redstuff.

So you are saying that the FK100P side has buildup...hmmm interesting results. Please keep us informed of conditions sir, thanks for the update.

Should of updated that post, I went back and stripped the FK1000P. Decided to strop it to see how it was against no protection as I never really paid attention to how well FK1000P was against build up and just used it. Wanted to give a better comparison.

Mine is still going strong after a couple days of rain and wet/muddy asphalt. I'm impressed with it so far thats for sure :)

used it on two vehicles so far. love it but it does reduce shine a little. my wheels are kind of matte anyway. stuff just falls off and anything left quick wipe gone.

should be. nothing on the can exempts it. seems rather tame. also dont buy it from a parts store but its 2 bucks cheaper at wal mart.
