if you guys had a returning customers (3 to 6 months later) that previously had the car polished and perfected (by you) and just wanted the car washed and waxed using Swissvax Crystal Rock, lets say it is a BMW 3 series, what would you charge for this service?

I am talking about not layering it, just one application and turn it over to him and this would involve washing outside, possibly claying it, vacuming out car and cleaning carpets. a basic touch up detail with no paint correction but wants the crystal rock

what have any of you charged for this? really curious and need to know if I am going to add it to my collection of products to offer

    Lets just say your service to wash n clean interior for a 3series is 150 , and crystal rocks costs 1100, but a can is good for 10 waxes($110) ... 150 + 110 = 260.

You would ultimately just have to decide how many times you can use the crystal rocks, and how long you will take on the basic maintenance cleaning. 3 month and 6 months is day n night if its a daily driven car.

    good answer,

although I am about to finish up my concourso and prob got about 20 applications or a little more. I use the cardinal rule with swissvax where less is more so my application is very light and I get pretty good results.

what do you mean by "day n night"? did you mean that it would take the car all day or it would be quick?

I feel this would be a pretty quick detail say about two hours or a little longer with the tools I use

    keep the feedback coming please

sorry my day n night analogies suck, lol.

what i meant was that if the car was coming back to you but was driven daily after you had polished it up it would look bad at 3 months,, and look horrible in 6 months. Therefore, if the car came back in 3 months it would get get a better rate then if the car came back in 6 months. more work, more time used, more money charged

and when a client wants a specific product.. they are gnna have to pay for that product,

I got 70 applications out of my CR.

As for what we charge figure $300 -$450 depending on the size of the vehicle.

Yes, I get quite a few applications out of Concorso.

Not that I wouldn't love to own a tub of CR but I do not think ANY of my customers would pay an extra dime for an expensive wax. I have Vintage and nobody really shows any interest in it. That said, most of my clientele are Corvette people and they all seem to want and request Zaino.

I like it a lot. My only complaint is the darn sweating once it gets warm which IMHO is a pretty big deal if you like to show your car outside in the sun on a hot summer day. Other than that it is a very nice wax, looks great, good durability and fairly easy to work with. I just hate how my car hazes up when it gets hot. I was using it on my Viper and that V10 puts off some major heat so the clam shell would really haze up bad. I guess it is a love hate relationship.

I was gonna say, 10 waxes for an $1100 wax would be in no way worth it, but 70 sounds incredible!

to supplement Phil's response, I can see you getting 10 MAYBE 15 apps with CR if you used your hands to apply...but I prefer the traditional pad. After 6 applications, the pot is barely starting to show signs of use except for the huge hole in the middle from when I accidentally pushed my finger all the way through when I was testing to see how hard it is:giggle:
