this powerlock has definitely got me interested

be interesting to see how it compares to the zaino - will you be revisiting this car?

also surprised you use the DA on the clear bra. I clear bra my skirts on all my cars and only ever use a paint cleaner or Plexus. I didnt know you could use an abbrassive, let alone on a DA

Film is plastic.... You can polish it using the same polishes you would on paint just need to take extra caution. DA polishes work great because they don't get granny or enerate too much heat. As for plexus.... Sorry to say over time it can dry out clear film.

Its an excellent product. So far the beading on my car has been impressive, no sign of fade after tons of rain here in NJ.

I switched from using rotary to a DA when polishing film. Not that I ever generated much heat when rotarying film, I never found defects to re-appear even after re-foaming and washing a car before LSP.

With the DA very little if any heat is generated on the film so there is no cool down period. I also avoid using any alcohol on film because that can dry out the plastic but in terms of filling due to swelling the only proof I have is cars I take care of regularly with film on it, and most seem to stay swirl free for a very long time after a detail :thumb:
