Yesterday, I had the pleasure to clean inside an incredible car: Mercedes-Benz G400 CDI. Although the car is very straight forms, is a beautiful car from my point of view. Detailing the interior was made in the owner's yard. I arrived at around 9:30 am and I finished around 19:30. As soon as I arrived at the location, I started working. I vacuum seats very carefully to not scratch the leather, then I applied Leatherique Rejuvinator Oil. Rej Leatherique Oil was allowed to act from 10.30 till 16 o'clock. If time allows, Rej Oil is allowed to stand as much to be absorbed by the leather and to push the dirt to surface. In the time when Rej Oil was allowed to act, I washed carpets using Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner and Vacuum injection - extraction Kaercher Puzzi 100 Super. Cleaning the interior was finished at 18:30 (about 3-4 hours of actual work). Products used: 1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium - a very good product for cleaning plastics 1Z Einszett Gummi-Pflege - product for cleaning and dressing your chederelor Leatherique Rejuvinator Oil & Prestine Clean - leather cleaning and maintenance Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner - I use to clean rugs, carpet cleaning and pedals Poorboy's Natural Look - plastic dressing, very good, plastics are much fine at touch Swissvax Crystal - a good window cleaner As usual, the detailing process should not miss the pictures. Pictures are not very successful at the end, because I was very tired. Enjoy the show. Leatherique Rejuvinator Oil applied on seats: Final results: Thank you for watching!
how long did you leave the leatherique treatment stay on the leather before you wiped it off and the seats were good to go? nice job! godoman
reason I ask is I have heard of guys leaving it on for 48 hours and rapping the seat in plastic after applying the oil and leaving it like that to ensure that the oil really does its work on those seats. want to see what that looks like. thinking of buying some but it has to be left on for such a long time that it would not benefit me to use for customers becuase they all want "quick" details on their cars which basically means clean the carpet and wax the outside, if you know what I mean godoman
For a quick wash you can use only Prestine Clean. It does a great job alone also. And for the entire Leatherique treatment, if you have a detailing business 4-5 hours it's ok to let rej oil to be absorbed by the leather. I've never used a plastic to put on the seats after applied rej oil. I just apply rej oil, and then put the car in the sun, or if i don't have sun i start the heat inside car for 30-40 minutes.
how much did you charge for this service to leatherique all the seats in the car? did you use this product on the leather on the doors as well or just the seats? thanks godoman
how will the leatherique stand up to this dried out 2003 black audi S8 driver seat all dried out and folded over many times from not being taken care of? thanks godoman
I charge $170 USD per interior (include the cleaning of the entire interior. I'm using leatherique on all leather surface. I think that seats will come to normal after 2-3 applications of the leatherique treatment (rej oil & prestine clean).
It looks great!! Have you always used 1Z CP to clean interior plastics or did you take some time with different products coming to the conclusion that the 1Z was the best? I currently used Meguiars APC at 10:1 and though it does good it requires a lot of scrubbing/agitation at times. Thanks.
Thanks for kind words. I've used only 1Z CP for all plastics and dashboard and it's great. I don't wanna change it, because is a cheap product and I don't need to scrubb or agitate too much. Also a good plastic cleaner is 1Z Deep Plastic Cleaner.
