Every time they Scrape off the old sticker not removing all the glue and wham goes on the new sticker slightly off the old sticker location:gasp: so now I have to clean that carefully. does this only happen to me? :headbang:
i guess it just depends on the place. The guy where i go to uses a new blade and scraps all the glue right off with one or two passes. Not a big deal to remove the glue. I guess i would be kinda mad if they just threw it on and not checked to see if it was aligned correctly.
I dont let people touch my car..... I even payed the smog guy an extra $40 to let me sit in the car do the gas deal while he smogged the car.
Thank goodness NC went to electronic inspection stickers so dont have to deal with those anymore. I use to take mine off and put mine on myself as I knew the shop owner.
About a year ago, just means we dont have inspection stickers and our inspection is tied to our registration. So we have to inspect out car one month before reg. on the car is due or we dont get reg. for the car. They are trying to cut down on the number of people who do not inspect there cars bu still get reg. every year.
