There was a car meet on sunday and the owner wanted the car all nice and shined up. It was also due for a clean up since it hasn't been washed for a while. Last time it was washed was by a dealership and they swirled the heck out of it again. Anyways, I threw on two coats of Bilt Hamber Auto-Balm over a 12 hour period. The second coat was applied the following morning. Glass received Collinite 845. This was just a wash, clay, wax. Lots of pollen already stuck in random spots, used my brushes and to get into it during the wash stage. Sprayed the car one with my mix of Majestic Solutions Ultra-Gloss, ONR, and Zep Citrus Degreaser before washing to minimize wash marring. Wash: - 2 Bucket Method w/ Grit Guards - Raceglaze Sheepskin Washmitt - Raceglaze Brush (Cracks/Crevices) - Meguiars Gold Class - Dawn Dishwashing Detergent - Zep Citrus - Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss - Optimum No Rinse Wheels/Tires: - Zep Citrus Degreaser 3:1 - Raceglaze XL Wheel Brush - Laitner Wheel Brush - Swissvax Wheel Brush - Meguiars Tire Brush - Old Sponge cut in half - Gloss-It Signature Tire Gloss Last Step Protection: - Bilt Hamber Auto Balm (2 Coats) - Distilled Water - Blackfire Applicator Pad - Chemical Guys 70/30 MF Towel - Wool Duster Befores: Chose Riccardo Blue Clay with Optimum No Rinse for Clay Lube Put it in warm water to help with the elasticity Dusting the car done the next morning Windows waxed with Collinite 845 Afters: Reflection Wheels, sorry one wheel is left out because the picture turned out terrible And...the money shot Thanks for looking!
I'm guessing you're referring to the plastic/chrome emblems. I have a coat of 845 on them, but the car wasn't clean thanks bro!
Whats up with the swirls in the front of the car in the two pictures taken directly from the front? Am I seeing stuff?? The car looks so much better!! Amazing what some BH does!
thanks Ty! Thanks bud, no polishing was done and the last wash it had was done by a dealership...so pretty much that explains all the swirling.
Would someone please verify that I'm not crazy. In both pictures taken from the front of the car it looks like someone took the picture and pinched and twisted it by the passengers front headlight...please oh please tell me I'm not crazy!
WOW! Looks like a different car. That is a great trick of putting the clay in warm water! I have been struggling with firm clay especially in winter for years.... The reflection shots are sweet. I have always used Collinite 845, but never on windows. I have always used KAIO. How does it work? Does it bead well?

thanks for the compliments! But yeah nobody likes working with hard clay, some people microwave their clay...I tried putting it under hot water. Does the exact same thing, so I just toss it in when it's elasticity is gone. I got mine from Canadian Tire, you can find one similar at Home Depot for cheaper. It's made by Stanley.
