We got hit pretty badly last night.....

everyone is okay but this went thru my bedroom window and is now sitting on my lawn. (one of support posts)

damn sorry to hear that Phil, glad everyone in your family is ok. And I thought we had it bad down here in MD the last few days, wow that's intense.

Geez man, glad you guys are OK. I would be really mad at the person who didnt think to weight or tie their giant parachute of a trampoline down..

At least you guys are all right, I was reading the reports about the damage, rainfall levels, and wind speeds. It looks like it could have been worse with the trees in the picture though, that would be a disaster! Truely spectacular stuff, we had a lot of wet weather last year, maybe it will be another one in 2010.

My family has been trying to get a status report on our place in Greenwich (CT) but it is hard when we live out on the west coast tracking down people to do it lol.

Yikers! that sounds scary. It's been a windy few days over here but nothing like what you've experienced. Like everyone else has said I hope everyone is ok.

 

my parents always said those trampolines are dangerous...

personally i will take an occasional tornado over hurricane / mud slide / forest fire / earth quake ANY DAY

Same thing happened to me last week. We had a freak storm come through with winds in excess of 80mph. It picked up my daughters trampoline and redeposited it two houses down in the neighbor's swimming pool. I would have loved to see it. It appears it was thrown through the air at least 12 feet up, because it cleared two wooden fences ans a work shed. It landed legs up and no visible gamage to it. It is the craziest thing. He last trampoline was dimantiledby hurricane Katrina. We are done with trampolines!!!!

glad you and your family are ok .. ya DUMONT got hit bad.. i was driving around it today and cant belive the mess... selzer school lost part of there roof.

 

Look on the bright side Phil... if you leave it positioned like it is you can easily do a head first dive thru that window, hit the trampoline, and land comfortably on your lawn... a fast and effective way to get out of your house and on the way to work each day

Why not sue NOAA for not warning of flying trampolines. Might as well sue the glass company also :cig:
