Great work Paul, even I could polished the car better then they did (I think most anyone on here could have to be honest), that is hologram city you had to work with right there!

Wow Paul "Free" buffer marks in the UK? In the US they charge extra!
    Great job Paul! :applause2:

It still blows my mind that a dealer would allow a car out the door like that... even if it was glazed up. You would think an Audi dealer would have better QC controls in place to prevent that from happening. Good think that owner found you Paul! Nice save.

That's just not even right for a new car, I'd have taken it back!

Paul, is this a case where the detailer at the dealership compounded the car but then, instead of working his way down with less and less abrasive pads and polishes to remove the holograms, the detailer just went over his work with a glaze that filled the holograms. Then after a few rain storms and/or car washes the glaze wore off and the holograms reappeared?

No, it wasn't even glazed, they just let it out like that, it looked like that when it arrived, and it hadn't even been washed or seen rain.

Some dealerships get there cleaners/valeters to just polish the car with the wrong product, they think there doing a good job, I've seen some valeters polish a car with a wool or foam pad quickly and all at the wrong angle, so instead you just get wavey buffer marks all over the paintwork, just like with this Audi TT.

What a shame to have to drive a nice car to its new home looking like that from the dealer.

It always amazes me when I see cars at a dealership or body shop and they have buffer trails like this. Great work

I see. It appears that the guys at dealerships in Europe are just as poorly trained as the ones here in the US.
