Hey guys looking to test out some new waxes for myself and wanted your input. I have a charcoal grey audi A4 and I am debating between the chemical guys Jet Seal/Pete's 53 Combo or Dodo juice Purple Haze or Dodo Juice Blue Velvet or maybe even a combo of both. I want the deepest wettest look possible. Thanks for your input -Nick

CG combo you listed will last longer and give good shine, depth and wetness and as well dodo. Have not used Purple Haze but do have a small sample pot I have never used. If you like to trade or something PM me.

Actually, I think Dodo Supernatural would look the best on the actual color. I like Purple Haze and Blue Velvet on blacks, reds, blues, etc...basically darker colored vehicles.

if you want the deepest wet look on grey (or any color), id say grab the 3oz pot of Vic's Red Concours wax and layer it over a glossy sealant like Blackfire Wet Diamond

i bought a few of the sample size dodo waxes, the orange crush, purple haze and supernatural and played around with them but didnt think they were anything out of the ordinary

The Dodo waxes do look good but I would layer them over a good sealant as the durability isn't that great. You will be reapplying every 6-8 weeks.

Well the car is a pretty dark charcoal with a hint of blue in sunlight. Also I have painted my roof gloss black and the center of my hood will soon follow suit. Therefore I assumed this would be considered a dark color car. Here is a pic for reference:

Yeah, that is the color I was thinking of. I think SN would look great on that.

you can have endless options for that color! Remember, prep is they key. JS 109 --- Pete's 53 would be nice, so would be Dodo SN, PH, BV...another nice combo I'd recommend would be BF WD---Midnight Sun.
